And it sure looks like it, except for getting the BLASTED nuts off that the dead pedal I bought mounts to! It's the two 13mm nuts behind the brake pedal on the firewall. I've got a box wrench, goes on fine, but did Jeep bloody use red Loctite on the things?
Try as I might, I could NOT get the blasted things to budge even a fraction. I've got a 13mm socket, but I need a deep throat socket (the bolts are long,) and I'm not sure using a socket wrench would be any better.
So, any suggestions? The pedal in question is the DV8 Offroad dead pedal for JT Jeeps (automatics, like mine.) I don't have a big toolbox, so I don't have anything I could use as a "cheater" bar (not that there's much room for one!) I suppose I could go get a deep 13mm socket that would work on my impact driver and try that to get the nuts off...
