My ESS works fine. I thought you were talking about it beeping if you lock the door with the engine running. Maybe we are talking about different things. My GMC does that and it’s super annoying. Sorry if I misunderstood.

Due to US Government requirements, the ESS variation used on the JT/JL resets to on at every startup.

If they were ever to offer the option for it to stay off, it would be an up-front fee equivalent to, or greater than, the government fine for doing so.

It is under seat and comfort , the Enfine will high idle much longer under 40°F toll the engine attains 150-159degrees

Isn't that only for remote starts? Thats when mine does it, but manual starts I have to turn them on.

Whoops. Ya wheel ya learn. My failed comment was more aimed at the comical side. Wifey wheels a 4Runner so it’s a constant back and forth in our household. Sad part is the 4Runner is probably a little more capable than the Gladiator in its current form.
