I actually picked the LEDs up at Autozone. Molle panel is MPS

I believe there are two drill spots for fasteners - Its pretty doable though. Did mine without removing the hard top, just removed the fasteners and tilted it up a bit.

Get some edge molding foam and apply it to the corners in case you get bounced around offroading, it sits a little lower and Ive bonked myself on it once or twice.

Old post probably way too old to remember but what wire did you tap in on the dome light? I just got the epic crow molle and Baja light and want to tap into the factory dome. Didn’t really want to run wires all over just for a dome light since all the rest of my wiring is already done. And you gotta remove the dome anyways to install the panel

Wires to tap:
Yellow with blue for always powered
Yellow with red/purple for ignition on only.
Yellow with brown for ground.

I guess I should explain a little. I want to connect to the wire that turns on the interior lights when you open the door. I want to install approach lights that come on with the interior lights.
Is the Yellow with red/purple the wire I should use? Or is that strictly on when the ignition is on?
I saw on another thread the Ambient Lighting Control has a White/Green wire.
I don’t know how knowledgeable you are so I hope this isn’t too much.

Unfortunately I can’t really help here. My light is a Baja designs push button map light.

I guess I was thinking old school as I made a lighting harness that illuminated the underside of the Jeep (JKU) when the interior lights were turned on by hitting the unlock on the key.
But my Gladiator won’t be turning on interior lights until I touch the door handle and open the door.
So I guess my thoughts of having the underside light up as I approach the truck are moot now that I think about it.
