Hi, what bi-led projector are you using in these? Is it a ballast plug/play (2) wire or a true one wire install like Oracle Oculus? Are you using OEM buckets for full adjustment or just an up/down beam adjustment?

Thanks!

It is our own brand Bi-LED projector. There are no ballasts as this is an LED projector. They plug in directly to the vehicles factory wiring harness just like the OEM headlights. The housings are OEM style buckets which retain the factory connectors. The projector is retrofit inside, they retain the factory up/down adjustment mechanism.

If you order a set with Halos / Angel eyes that will require additional wiring into your vehicle, but the headlight operating portion itself is direct plug & play.

Thank you for the clarification. I ask about the projector itself as I personally compare the output/beam pattern of any aftermarket LEDs to the Morimoto MLED2.0 as the bench mark. The biggest pain with these though is the "LED driver" (sorry, what I called ballasts). But, IMO the MLED2.0 has the best beam pattern and greatest width of any aftermarket LED projector on the market for retrofit.

I currently own the Oracle Oculus LED's in my JT and while they are bright with a good cutoff, they don't have the width that my retrofitted FJ Cruiser had with the MLED2.0's. You can see how the projector pattern of the Oracle is more like a concentrated convex pattern, while the MLED2.0 offers a smooth/wide concave beam (much more similar to an OEM style projector; using my Crosstrek as an example). I feel like it really helps reduce visual strain to eliminate the "hot spot" of the Oracle with almost, per se, a foreground limiter like the MLED2.0

Sorry if I seem to be knit picky but for any of these offerings at $500+ it's important to know what you're getting. Also, having the ability to adjust each head light left-to-right for correct beam spacing is crucial and something the Oracle Oculus suffers from.

I am getting ready to begin my own retrofit and sell the Oracles, but your offering has me on the fence now :)

Your concerns are totally understandable, here are some pictures of our cutoff for you to compare. Our LED driver is very compact and fits inside the JL headlight housing.

Thanks. Your logo is slightly in the way, but it appears your projector might have a slight width advantage to the Oculus with a concave foreground...

Thanks, very helpful. Do you have Lux readings that you can share?

Lux Measured at 125 feet

I have numbers for all of our competitors but we aren't able to post them here due to forum rule etiquette which we respect, if you would like the full table please email us directly. [email protected]

I would love to know the same. I love amber running/marker lights and amber halos would look super cool.

Yes you can just run amber only. Every one of our headlights with switchbacks has this option.
