I got my 1st wrangler in 1990 upon college graduation and solid it 4 years later. I've been wanting another since then and just picked up my Gladiator Willys on Tuesday. Love everything about it except I need the driver's seat to lower a few more inches. When I recline the back to where I'd like it my head brushes the roll bar. I'm about 6' 3" and am wondering if there is a way to lose some padding or something...........

Nope. 6'4" and I am in close proximity to the sport bar. I haven't seen a way to lower the seat.

I'm only 6'1" and my head is almost touching the sports bar if I lean back. Only the mid and lower part of the gauges are visible. Does anyone actually have to raise the seat in these?

I'm 6'4" and don't have that problem in my '16 JKU. I sit rather upright and my seat isn't all the way back. Out of curiosity I pushed the seat back and could definitely sense something back there. Took a "selfie" and see that my head would definitely hit the bar if the seat was back further. I think for my height my torso is longer than average so I can get away with the seat not being all the way back. Maybe moving forward, even 1 notch, could help.

6'5" -- NO Problem.. Don't use the "leanherwayback" style seating .. yes used the lowering lever and seat is all the way back. btw 6'4" son is good too.

I’m a short guy here at 6’2 it looks like. No issues for me, though I’m not too far from it.
