Is this part standard equipment?

Opened the hood for the first time, yeah i know... I've only put 500 miles on the truck.

Oddly, I DO NOT have that plastic engine cover. I'd have thought that was standard on all of them. DId the dealer forget to put it back on when they did the dealer prep? Or did the dealer i picked it up from never put it on? Who knows...I will find out.

Just curious if every Rubicon Gladiator came with one. if so I will be calling tomorrow, just don't want to call them up and be stupid because it was not a standard thing installed.

Engine cover was only standard on the early builds, possibly just 2020 or maybe even 2021…. Others will have better info as to when it was phased out.

Other threads on the same topic state the cover was eliminated starting with MY2022.

My 21 Willys didn't come with one either so it was phased out after 20. My wife's 20 does have it.

That Part was deleted. My 2023 Rubicon didn't have it.

I recognize that dust! That's Iowa farm dirt. oh, yeah, been covered head to toe with it.

Mine was gone a couple days after bringing it home. Removed all the insulation and foam crap to attempt to get it to breath a little
