I have really liked this Gladiator and I appeared to have bought a good one. This morning I looked at the dash and saw the #%^&())(^#@ CHECK ENGINE LIGHT.

I have an appointment scheduled for tomorrow AM at the Jeep dealer 3 miles away. I'll let them do their job and pull the code and determine the issue. If and when I get to removing codes the Jeep will be deleted or gone!

No. I always set my parking brake - a classic car habit. The sway bar lamp has been on a month - made an appt and had to cancel - procrastination ... Sorta waiting for something ...

Yes. The light is on and no it's not the prob

I would atleast pulls the code before bringing it in. It's to keep honest dealer honest. They will probably just clear the code and send you on your way until it shows up again or even charges you for diagnostic fee.

When I got home the check engine light went off. I took it to the dealer and they found no fault code. The sway bar disconnect had a bad unit and was replaced. All good now and again a happy Gladiator owner. PS: Living in a large city has issues, but it sure is nice to have several dealerships nearby for prompt repairs.

1K miles later and no light. With a build date of 12/2023, it's 1 of the last diesels built so hopefully the diesel was sorted by then. Also, the FP was replaced by dealer before purchase. I still feel very confident in the quality in Vlad. I really love this truck.

Nope.

I drove mine for about 100 miles on a trip during the night before I noticed the cap hanging.
