When setting up with for a night of camping with a RTT, do you just sit on the suspension or do you add jack stands under the frame for a more solid night's sleep?
(Torro SkyLux should be here today!)
I am thinking either some blocks of wood or a set of aluminum stands that might be useful for repairs etc..

Suspension. I highly suggest a pack of plastic leveling blocks for an RV or you can just stack rocks if they're available to level out the truck but stability has never been an issue as long as its level. Some little stick-on bubble levels attached to the tent can help with that if you feel you struggle with it.

Just using the suspension is fine (and I have soft suspension). It will move some, but when sleeping I haven't noticed any issues with significant rocking either with my own movements or the wind. But to level it get GoTreads. They function as leveling blocks (which can be varying heights) and flexible traction boards. I have no affiliation with them, but it seems like a good multi-use tool that can save space. (https://gotreads.com/)

I have a set (2) of rigid (ROTOTRAX) traction boards and the Go Treads. If you don't already have 4 of the ARBs, then It would still be a nice option. It's good to have 4 traction boards. And I like the idea having both rigid and flexible for different circumstances

I do have 4 of them. I am a belt and suspenders kind of guy.
I do like those go-treads though. Would fit nice in the wife's Outback.
