I've been keeping my phone in the center console plugged in for CarPlay and it's been working really well. I decided to add the RamMount for off-road maps and hate the wire sticking out of the dash because of the "Media" cover being flipped up.

This video came so close to showing the underside of the center console. ??‍

I use one of these to keep the cover from being flipped up all the time.
