@JeepCares I ordered my 6MT Gladiator Mojave nearly 12 months ago, on 2/1/23 through @Koons_of_Tysons_Corner.
My truck did not begin production until 12/5/23 and was marked as "built" on 12/22/23.

From there, Jeep decided to put my truck in the lot (Toledo - Nitro Creek).
I thought sold orders were supposed to take priority? The General Sales Manager at Koons has been in touch with the factory, trying to get them to ship the truck, but for some reason, this is going nowhere. The truck has been on the shipment lot for 20 days. Meanwhile, Koons receives dealer inventory on a regular schedule.

Has anyone experienced anything this absurd? I'd been waiting for my damn truck for nearly a YEAR, and Jeep has continued to prioritize EVERY other order over mine. I understand Stellantis has thousands of vehicles to manage daily, but how can it be possible that they have consistently screwed me and my sold order over on every possible occasion?

There are members in this forum who ordered a 6MT Gladiator in AUGUST (6 months after me) and received theirs in late December.
This is complete nonsense.

Does anyone have any experience with this? Any advice? I'm at the end of my wits and I'm preparing to just cancel the order and ask for a refund.

Isn't there a stop on all 6MT's?

No. They found a fix for the clutch a couple months ago and managed to put my order (which was one of the oldest sold orders) behind nearly EVERY other order placed after mine.

Go check the Wrangler Forum. Check on the 6MT guys here. There are hundreds of people, some who ordered 8 or 9 months after me, who have received their vehicles.

And now that mine is built, @JeepCares is just hanging on to it in the lot instead of putting it on a truck and shipping it to my dealer.

Did you order some uncommon option (beside the Mt) that it might be waiting on?

My understanding is they go to the accessories lot next door for bed liners, special wheels, headliners, ect. Maybe some option you ordered is on back order in that lot.
They still show built when in that status.

Good luck on getting it soon.

Yes, I did. But that's all done.

My dealer was informed it is "built and ready for shipping" close to 20 days ago.

I am currently in contact with someone at @JeepCares who is inquiring about the ETA of my vehicle via the tracker and asking if it has been previously postponed.

I informed them it was originally 12/25, then 1/2, then 1/10... and now 1/18. It has been postponed 3 times now.

Jeep is also shipping other orders placed after mine (sometimes up to 10 months after), and shipping dealer inventory, while my order sits on the lot.

Jeep is supposed to prioritize sold orders. They don't.

This will certainly be the last Jeep I own (and that's IF I decide to take delivery of it), because this experience has been HORRENDOUS.

What a way to treat loyal customers.

Originally, my order was delayed due to the clutch recall. (I ordered a manual transmission)... but now, my truck is BUILT, finally... and Jeep is sitting on it!

How do you know this - that they are just "sitting on it"? How do you know there isn't some other accessory that it's waiting for? Jeep uses other vendors for some things so it might be built but minus something else.
Also - people still don't get it - shipping is still an issue. they can't drop a Jeep on a truck and send it out until they have a load headed in the right direction. there's such a thing as shipping logistics.
There was a fellow waiting on a JLU ordered months before my JT - and it sat and sat - until there was my JT and a couple of others coming this direction. Mine shipped out fast, likely the last one needed for that load or whatever.
You say 12/22/23 - really? Upset over that, when there's a holiday in between, weather to be aware of, the need to load things up instead of shipping just YOUR truck to keep you happy.
And finally - where did you see it said "built" - the tracking web site (which is often not really correct)

You don't know that there's no reason, and you are talking only 2 or 3 weeks. Not really a big deal in the grand scheme of things.

Exactly. And "built" by that tracking web site leaves a lot to be desired. The web site was so wrong with mine it as laughable.

Have the dealer contact their regional rep and get the exact CODE it's sitting at - not just "built". There will be letter codes. FF, G2, KZ, and so on. That will mean a lot more than just "built" showing up on a web site.

1. My dealer informed me a factory contact said the truck was built and ready for shipment
2. My dealer receives dealer inventory every other day, according to them. I know these vehicles come from different places.
3. Yes my truck was built on 12/22. Well after many other 6MT vehicles were built, some that were ordered up to 10 months AFTER mine.

I understand there are shipping shortages and delays, but Jeep has postponed my ETA 3 times now, while other customers, some with Wrangle orders, receive their trucks on a regular basis.

If you think I'm being a whiney baby after waiting nearly a full year for my truck, and watching practically EVERY OTHER ORDER take precedence over mine, then there's nothing I can say to change your mind.

My truck has been in KZP status for 20 days. It's been sitting on a lot.

Also the most infuriating part is knowing that Jeep built at least 42 post recall 6MT JTs for inventory orders in the beginning of July. If sold orders were really a priority our trucks ordered 2/1 would have been built at that time.
I'm with @tarndesigns in that we ordered at the same time and have had nothing but a horrid experience of being told 'its coming" and its been one event after another. Its been over 11 months and 10 of that being told, "its been prioritized" just makes you feel like it was prioritized to be last, not first.

I'm waiting to hear some actual facts in this situation. There's a lot of conjecture and hearsay, but very little actual information. Just that someone is waiting on a truck while others with different orders on different trims and different options got deliveries. There's many reasons a truck may be waiting in the lot. The fact that it's there doesn't answer any real questions.

You need to escalate this through FCA/Stellantis, they're the only ones that will have anything close to real information. Not us, not the dealer, not the Wrangler forums. Those folks are literally just guessing and/or being fed convenient information rather than accurate information.

Exactly.

I'll only speak for myself, but without fail, every step of the way, my truck has been put at the bottom of the list. It was ordered longer than probably 99% of the trucks that have been shipped already and was built AFTER 99% of those same vehicles.

And now, it sits on a lot.

What would you like to know? I have spreadsheets showing the ones made in July if you would like to see VINs and build sheets and window stickers for those. Those were all post 19A recall trucks. I sent those to the dealer and they attempted to escalate up the chain and got nothing. That is really the only reason I was able to back out of my order and get my refund on my deposit. They couldn't get any information out of them.
If you try to contact FCA you get a 3rd party customer service team who sees nothing the dealer can't already see and all they do is look at those records for you and send you an email every two weeks stating that they don't have any new updates but that your order has their full attention. Do you want to see those emails? I can attach those.

Other than that, my story is:
'23 Willys 6-spd in Earl Order confirmed 2/1
Scheduled 2/13
D1-to-D Regress due to 2/16 clutch recall
3/25 Notified it would not be painted in "Earl" and I would have to pick a new color
8/30 was informed new build date was 9/26

I lost patience waiting for a '23 - backed out of order, and the UAW strike happened

I kind of get why @tarndesigns is upset. He waited this long and the thing is finally built and sitting there. They don't get window stickers if they are still waiting for something.
