Jeep Slush Mats Question

So when my dealer located my Sting Grey Glady it had everything I wanted plus the OEM Jeep slush mats. Keeps me from buying WeatherTech so I was pretty happy about that. My question is, how many people have black “JEEP” on them instead of red “JEEP”? Every set I see are red. Not that it really matters to me, I’m just curious if them being black means they were for a cheaper, more expensive, special model or just what was ordered.

I believe if you ordered the all weather mats from the factory they came in black.
If you bought after the fact, meaning they weren't on your build sheet or sticker, then they came with JEEP in red.

Yeah, that's how it is on JLs so I'd assume it's the same for JTs.

I like them in red... they match some interior accents like on the gear shifter...

Thanks for all the replies everyone. Guess I was just lucky and got black. The red looks great but I’m thinking about a different accent color and red won’t match that.

I actually think I'm going to order the qtec branded weather techs. Better coverage than factory slush mats. Just no fancy drain hole

My Punk'n JTR came with black from the factory. I also have the dark silver dash, so this works nicely.

Well, damn, I included these on my factory order but I'd prefer the red accents. It never occurred to me that Jeep would have two versions of these based on where/how you purchased them.

Well, given som of the responses here, shouldn’t be hard to find someone to swap reed ones for your black mats.

ALL factory are Black
