That is the only logical conclusion I can come to.

Ordered 12/19
VON/VIN received 12/21
All Parts Gathered for Build 1/29
Window Sticker 2/13
Build Sheet 2/14
Released for Shipping 2/19
1st ETA 2/24-3/10 (provided to me via FCA Chat on 2/25)
Dealer’s first delivery ETA was 3/3
2nd ETA 2/25-3/11 (provided to me via FCA Chat on 3/5)
Dealer received invoice from FCA on 3/5 indicating the Jeep is at the local mixing lot. She has no knowledge about when it will move from the mixing lot to the dealer.

Since then I’ve just been waiting. So I got curious this morning and asked FCA about delivery status. Now it’s ETA is 3/11-3/25. Clearly nobody knows ish. I’m feeling feisty so I got snarky with FCA this morning.

Honestly the shipping industry is hurting right now. I just had to contract 3 full trucks to go pick up my shipments in Kansas and bring them to San Antonio. You have driver shortages, government limiting how long they can be on the road, elevated fuel prices and more. This isn’t even getting into the issues getting raw materials from outside the US that have to come through the ports in California.

This stage of transit is driven by the rail industry. It's called getting railroaded for a reason. Even big companies like the big 3 find out how little influence they have with rail.
