I see more jt's than Rangers, canyons and Colorados in South jersey area. I looked at the Chevy and gmc and bought the jt because it was better equipped for the same price

Perfect amount would be the 5.7 hemi level of power (be it from hybrid, turbos, or displacement). It's plenty for every situation with out being too much for the platform.
Yup Ram 5.7 and 10 speed would be sweet

This Ben Hardy dude is a tool. He’s in Utah. Guess what the most popular vehicle is in Utah? It’s a Jeep of some kind or a Subaru. The market is flooded with Jeeps in that part of the world.

To all those in an area where the JT sits on the lot, tell those dealers to sell them to other dealers down here in Texas. They would be 100% sold inside a week. JT's are all over down here. Even our local dealer in my small hick town can't keep them in stock. Full price immediately.

On the power issue, for me at least, the V6 does just fine if you gear it correctly after bigger tires are installed (which we all do). Mine tows my tractor on my 16' dual axle trailer with absolutely no issues whatsoever. Total weight a tad over 5,000lbs. Several years ago...yes, absolutely needed a V8 in a truck, even a mid-size truck. Today's V6's and 8-speeds are a different breed than they used to be.

My JT fits my needs perfectly. Haul shit. Tow shit. Night on the town with the wife and shit. Go play in the shit. Pull shit out when that shit gets stuck in shit. Go play in the same shit I just pulled that shit out of...just because I can

Now, that being said: I usually pay off a vehicle then trade it in on something new. Not with this JT. I'm keeping it forever. Once it's paid for, instead of trading it in, I'll do the V8 swap at Exodus. Not because it needs it. It really, really doesn't. Only because I want it (big difference). I miss the sound of a rumbling V8. If there wasn't a swap available in the entire world, that would be just fine with me. Again, the truck doesn't need it to do what it does.

late to this party… but the least expensive 2022 4 wheel drive truck with a crew cab that isn’t a maverick/santa cruz or a frontier is a Gladiator. The Gladiator does most of the Home Depot/Lowe’s trips a lot of people will require, and it’s a lot more fun to deal with than the Frontier- which has the same sized bed.

While I certainly think it’s a niche vehicle, people seem to think that a base Gladiator is a wholly different vehicle than any other midsize truck, and it isn’t.

Pretty sure all Jeep Gladiator owners are just freaking out right now because we are all realizing that this mass produced, overhyped, heavily modded (owner dependent ) shit box is now losing value like a new F-150 with with a 15k reduction just to get it off the lot.
You mean this virus thing is settling down and interest rates through the moon that…. our used vehicles are no longer appreciating?

I was a car salesman. Long enough to know that 98+% of car salesmen are clowns with ZERO product knowledge.
When I bought my JT, the salesman told me I could take off the front panels, but not the whole top. I just let him keep thinking that, but come on man! You’ve got ad sheets and posters with topless JTs inside the office!

Maybe he thought you were as mechanically un-inclined too? Not that no one could, just you couldn’t.

It's regional. We saw a LOT of Gladiators when in Florida.
In Iowa - we MAY see one or two, the most we've ever seen when out and about around Polk County is 4 or 5. Some days, we may see one or none.
It's not a serious enough truck for our state - Farmers, contractors, etc. - the full size truck rules here. (meaning Silverado, etc.)
Jeeps here are Grand Cherokee, Wrangler, Cherokee, Renegade, and Gladiator in that order.
Wranglers rule some days, but the Grand Cherokee is the official Jeep of our county.
I bet we see 20 Wranglers for every 1 Gladiator.
We were shocked when in Florida last fall - the number of Gladiators amazed us. We were just not used to seeing so many.
But it's not "truck territory" like Iowa and some other states where you need a truck because you need a TRUCK. Iowans don't care much about the convertible bit - weather is too goofy and unpredictable.
I agree it is definitely regional. In the St. Louis area, especially in the suburbs west of downtown, Wranglers are huge. I probably see 40 Wranglers to 1 Gladiator, if not higher. My local jeep dealer, two blocks from my house, just got in a shipment of over 40 new Wranglers, 36 of them are the 4ex models. (I didn't know there was such a demand for the 4ex.) Only 3 new Gladiators on the lot. It's disappointing how few Gladiators I see in the St. Louis area, but I love mine.

4xe are HUGE. When I was trying to find my wife a purple Jeep - easily 80+% of all purple Wranglers I found were 4xe. (and that's what we got and I love it)
I drove across our county twice today for business - each trip saw one Gladiator. Each trip saw more Wranglers than I could remember, even more Grand Cherokees (many of them white)

I’m aware of 3 JTs in my neighborhood - about 1 sq mi. But I honestly don’t see many here on the north side of Dallas. Full size trucks are the norm.

I have about 7 in my area including mine. I’m the only one with a plow on mine. 10-15” inches of snow again on Friday!

I enjoy plow time in my JT.

Been a very disappointing winter here. We can't buy snow. Biggest we've had has been maybe 3 to 4". Bummer.
