hope it stays in stock for a bit, just bought all the parts for on board air so my snorkel purchase is going to have to wait a month or two now. Excited to see it back in stock though!

He’s right, back in stock! The guys at AEV suggested I order from Summit racing. They gave me the part number and all. AEV rep told me if I ordered from Summit rather than AEV I would save shipping cost. Summit gave me a delivery date of Aug 11. Their customer service was awesome and to top it off they delivered earlier than expected. Here it is installed. Couldn’t be happier. Definitely a good performance upgrade!

Doesn't look bad with the low fenders. Good go know and thanks for sharing photos.

No problem good luck. That snorkel installed is a total experience driving the JT. It’s a great upgrade like I mentioned previously

I just started following this conversation here guys, and have a question regarding AEV’s Cyclone top piece. When I first looked into it, there was concern or some issues with using the Cyclone top piece causing problems in a couple vehicles. Does anyone know if the issues have been resolved and the current product is working well?

Looking at the gas snorkel with the optional A-pillar mount kit - this is about the only photo of it I can find - AEV only makes this accessory part for their gas passenger-side snorkel, not the driver-side diesel snorkel. There are more details in page 8-11 of the gas snorkel install instructions.

Looks like it's just a metal bracket with a few holes to mate with the interior grab handle bolts, go under the door seal and match the door frame contour, then mate to the snorkel tube at the same threaded inserts as the normal rivet plate

I'd much rather use something like this than drill and rivet the windshield frame, and retain the ability to fold it if I choose. Anyone see a reason I can't just build a mirror image of the gas bracket?

(sorry, can't help with the question just above this)

Just did a 700 miles shakedown run with altitude going up 10’000+ ft no issues (22’ JTRD)
