you mean you manually shift it until it gets up to speed or you rev it around 3500rpm as you accelerate ?I let the auto shift at or above 3500 until I get to speed.
Likely still in break in. Give it a couple of WOT pulls to really seat the rings. On my max tow, wasn't till after 800 miles I started to see normalcy. Then at 1200 I put on 3.5 lift and 37x12.5 mt on. Lost about 2 mpg from 18-19 average. 70+ mph kills it regardless. Also saw slightly better mpg doing a dnf to synthetic oil.Either I am driving really hard or I am still in that break-in period that some have mentioned. Hopefully it’ll get a little better over time. 17 would be ideal
Ok...so I’m racking my brain and can’t come up with what WOT stands for? HaLikely still in break in. Give it a couple of WOT pulls to really seat the rings. Wide open throttle lol. I like to do it on the on ramps for highways. Or wait till ur on open street h of road. Just gun it for 20-40 mph or till u get to speed.Ok...so I’m racking my brain and can’t come up with what WOT stands for? Ha
I also get lower mileage than others with the stock Mud Terrains, but, I have a pretty heavy foot. I average about 14-15 mph with 12K miles..Looking to see what others are getting on their JTR’s with the stock Mud Terrain tires. After 800 miles I’m averaging per the computer 13.9 mpg. I was curious if that is mostly the MT tires driving down the mpg?
