It's the Rough Country cover, I have to say I'm pretty pleased with it. Looks great, and wasn't really all that hard to install. I'm glad whoever blew the bed texturing in knew what they were doing and the holes were still there for mounting.

How has this cover held up for you?

Do you still like it, keeps everything dry inside?

This price point seems like a steal vs the others out there which is why I'm wondering with time if you still would recommend it?

I guess I've had it coming up on 3 months, and I love the tonneau cover still. After watching videos of how some of the other ones open, pulling a latch and turning, all of that, I really love the way you just pull on the wire and it opens that section. And, I've seen no leaking from the cover, I've seen where some water looks like it gathered at the mouth of the bed but I'm thinking that's from the tailgate and not the cover. And it's so minimal, I really even hate mentioning it.

I looked at that one. I ended up buying the Gator EFX instead. They look really similar. Could be the same top.

Thank you for your reply.

That's great news, I've been on the fence between one in the 1k range or the Diamondback (buy once cry once) and then I came across this one in the 600-700 area which is a great deal if it works.

Does this lock with the tailgate and would be tough to break into?

Tough to break into....I guess that's relative. Is it tougher to break into than a soft top that you could push a pocketknife through and make a big hole in the top? Yes, for sure. When you close and lock the tailgate, the tonneau is locked as well because the tailgate has to be open for you to pull the wire that releases that section of the tri-fold. However, a crowbar could be put between the tailgate top and the tonneau cover and it would very likely just pop open. I've not tried it of course, but it's pretty obvious that there is enough of a gap to work a crowbar between them and if you can do that, then you could force it open. But that's pretty much any tonneau cover unless there is one that defeats that ability. I've seen the ones that roll up that are like corrugated steel, maybe they would be more secure but I think those start around $1,500 and that's just out of my ball park.

This ^^

If somebody REALLY wants into your stuff, they're going to get into your stuff. Windows can be shattered and locks can be defeated.

The idea behind the hard covers is to slow a thief down. Thieves like it when they can grab and go quickly. Most of them won't take the time to figure out how to rig their way into something, especially when they can't see what's in there and don't know if the reward is worth the risk. This is the only reason I get the hard tops on my Jeeps also. The soft tops are perfect really, but they're too easy to slash with a knife.

This.

Theft, for the most part, is easy opportunity. Something that doesn't look out of place.

Like at Home Depot... I forgot to grab my tools to return (yoink), or I forgot my phone at the grocery store (yoink)...

If you act like you belong there, no one thinks anything of it.

I went with the Rugged Ridge here, had it for about a month. It installs in about 30 to 45 minutes with one person. Bought it for keeping things out of sight and protected from the elements, so far so good.
