I do a deep clean, ceramic wax hybrid 3 times a year, spring, mid summer, fall.

in between I do a simple wash or run it through a touch less auto wash, however mine gets dirty a lot, bugs dirt, dust live in centralvalley At the moment. Plus the off roading.

she only looks pristine a couple a weeks a year, the rest she’s a dirty girl;)

You can keep any car clean even if you use it if you're willing to wash it and wax it periodically. My cars get washed weekly unless it r rains and I try to wax at least one panel each time defaulting to the roof, hood and trunk (if applicable) since they get the most exposure to the Sun. When you do this regularly, it goes fast and easy.

But most people don't enjoy washing their cars, I do.

A ceramic coating or ceramic hyperwax will repel dirt / dust. Some better than others. I've used mothers CMX hyperwax and loved it. Tried turtle wax graphene hyperwax and not a fan. The CMX is not "gooey" at all and repels dirt very well. Even running through a clean rain will make the jeep look better. But the turtle wax graphene is gooey and dirt sticks to it. It has little to no dirt repelling capability and is similar to an old standard wax. Will definitely be going back to mothers CMX next wash. I use the spray hyperwaxes as a drying aid and a sacrificial dirt repelling layer between washes. They work so well i might consider getting a black jeep next go-round

Ceramic coating done by a reputable shop is very worth the price IMOP. No scratches (I’ve been on trails that ran dry dead evergreens down the sides (oxymoron) no scratches. I just run through a car wash it looks like I spent all day meticulously cleaning it (yes it still fits with 37’s and full height rack)

Ain’t gonna happen to stay clean all the time if you use it.

It’s easiest to keep an appearingly clean vehicle outside when it Is painted in a light color. IMO, Gobi and similar colors tend not to appear dusty when they are dirty just because of the hue of the color. I recall seeing a Mojito once that hid dust as well. Unfortunately, dust seems to show up on everything else.

My Mach-e and gladiator were both ceramic coated by different professionals. Between our rain, trees, smoke and pollen the coats were basically gone within a year even though they both had five year warranties. Both cars live outside in a rainy environment with overhead or very close pine and alder. Although it's not hard to get off, sap is a total killer to any kind of sealant as mists down from our giant Doug Fir. I'd imagine a daily driver without this much rain exposure or garage kept (at least at night) would fare better. I have had much better luck just blasting dirt off with a pressure washer once a week and hand washing three times a year followed by a hybrid wax or acrylic sealant. Every other year I clay bar, polish and reseal.

You don't ceramic coat to prevent scratches, not worth the money if that's your goal.

I love to use Last Coat after 5/6 rainy days still shines its expensive but worth every penny and yes 99% of the time my daily driver is cleaned in and out and as a drywall finisher it's tough

Between washing I take advantage of rain showers when they come and wipe it down after rain passes. Free wash.
