Bad enough stuck there WILL be a failure point. I'd rather it be a rope or a soft shackle than the recovery point personally. One creates a potentially deadly projectile, the other not so much (no you don't want to be hit by a broken rope, synthetic winch line, or soft shackle but odds are really good it wouldn't kill you). I've broken several winch lines, twisted winch plates, etc but knock on wood nothing lethal has become airborne as a result.
Well I've never had equipment failure either......stateside and while deployed.......and when we snatch vehicle while on the X or under contact........it's life or death.......so the recovery is fast and furious. So equipment comes hard into play. Again, the right and quality equipment and tools are force multipliers.

That is a really nice product although a little more than I want to spend. I'll keep my eye open for a Black Friday Sale.

I'm kind of gravitating toward the ARB snatch strap, it's got the best of both worlds. It's got some stretch but it's flat and compact.
I have the ARB, has a little stretch, stores well & didn’t break the bank. The couple times I used it was smooth extractions.

Bubba rope is the original OG.
There’s really a lot to unload here. Not the best testing but it’s something.

The smittybuilt and Rhino shouldn’t have been included. You can’t compare 7/8 and 1” fairly using the tests they did.

The fiery red and yankum get the best results for least stretch after 25 uses which is good if you use this often.

The bubba rope appears to lose the most stretch after 25 uses which doesn’t lead me to believe it would be the best over time. I could be wrong.

Also am wondering why he only compared the fiery red to the bubba in the chart showing force at lbs.

If you throw cost in there fiery red is $85 for 7/8 and two soft shackles and bubba is 325 for the same layout.

Unless you do this for a living does it really make sense to pay the $325. It looks like they all have capable specs but appears to be diminishing returns at a certain point.

Just my thoughts, could be completely wrong or misinterpreting it as well đŸ«

Bubba rope had been around longer then all of them is what I was implying. Not that's it's better but around the longest... you missed a lot.

Please share what I missed then because I am in the market for a rope.

Fords been around the longest but I’m certainly not gonna buy one based solely off of them being around longer than the automotive companies.

I was only looking at the datapoints in the video.

My comment was simply about being the original OG nothing more. Once again way over your head. Picking a fight over my comment that had nothing to do with quality or best in class. This shows you ate too many paint chips as a kid and you missed the whole point of my comment..

Oh ok, I now see there is no ability to process logic in that tiny head of yours. Wasn’t looking to start a fight, just asking about something in the video you shared, not your worthless comment. Sorry you got so butt hurt over me asking a question about something you posted. I thought maybe you actually had something useful to share but it’s obvious now that you don’t and think that because they’ve been around longer means they are the best. Good to know and great logic on its own. 🙄

You should got drink a beer and Rub one out. I didn't post the video. You might want to put your glasses on.

Still can’t add anything of value to the conversation. Keep deflecting with insults. You are right you didn’t post the video, I should have known you wouldn’t be able to post anything of use in here. Sorry the questions were too difficult for you and you feel the need to flex your keyboard fingers.

If anyone else has thoughts on the video I would be interested to hear.
