Looks like I have coolant leak showing up at the reservoir/hose connection. Not 100% show though as maybe the reservoir is cracked and that’s just the point where the liquid gathers to drip.

I had the same thing. The leak was the O ring in that connector. My efforts to buy just that connector and replace it proved futile. The OE part is the connector and hose, cost me $90 cad. I got it home and took off the connector and attached it to my hose. I also replaced the coolant reservoir too as I originally thought the bottle was cracked (it wasn’t).

Do you have part number that was the ultimate fix?

Seems sad Mopar does not have online access to an illustrated parts catalog,
To get that O ring number.

Or if you could syphon the coolant out of the reservoir and pop the connector and then go match the O ring up at a local parts house. Or even measure it and source it online.

The ultimate fix was to just buy the hose and take off the connector that was on it. I then took out the bad O ring and went to the auto parts store to match up with a new one. From the whole bunch of O rings they had, the best fit I could get was a hair thinner all around.

I also found the “flat spot” in the old O ring self healed and is fine now. It’s now a spare.

The OE O ring thickness is just a hair bigger and I wasn’t able to find an exact match, but close. But because the old O ring looks to have self healed, I will have it and the new slightly thinner O ring as back up.

Technically, it's a $90 o-ring. What happened to a simple barb, hose and clamp. This is not over engineered but rather one of many stupid engineered parts on modern vehicles. Great ideas for faster assembly but the consumers are paying the price.

There is an overflow weep hole that starts inside the bottle near the top and runs in the center between the 2 layers of the bottles made up layers and if you take your pinky and feel under the reservoir bottle you will feel a hole under the reservoir tank it is here that that over flow will drip and come down on the hose 99.9% of the time that is what you are seeing

So…your saying that the shit design on the tanks overflow is what’s causing this leaking ? Not the shit designed O-Ring elbow on the hose under the tank? So, you replaced the shit tank with another new shit tank and it stopped leaking? 99.9% of the time? How many times have you done this?

I was the .01% that had the crappy O ring fail and I fixed it with the new $90 connector.

[edit] …well, come to think of it, I was also the .01% that also had to replace most everything on my truck, multiple times, all within the first year or so, got me the name that earned me the most unlucky guy trophy, so I think you’re on something here.

If so it’s doing way too much weeping. I noticed the issue when I found coolant dripping off my lower control arm. The bottle had just a smidge of fluid left in it. I added more coolant and that level has also dropped after two drives. I have a new bottle and hose/connector on order. I will start with the bottle and connector. Not too expensive but very wasteful considering I just want bottle and connector not the hose.

On mine when I seen that antifreeze turned out to be the water pump.
