LED Aux Light Integrated Front Skid Plate Concept

@ORACLElights I've ordered the skid plate with the yellow emitters via 4WheelParts in Burlington, ON. I will be hooking it up to my VOSwitch JL300. Do you have any instructions for wiring to something like that?

If you are looking to use a different harness you will need to cut the wiring that comes with the skid plate. Please see the photo below.

We're you able to get this issue squared away? I have a winch sitting in my living room and am hesitant to start the install.

Sorry - I just saw this question. Yes I got it installed. Had to get some longer bolts and used some bushing to hold it off the frame.

let me know if you need install pics. I can get under there to show you what I did.

I’m planning on the same set up. I love your Jeep man it looks great! I just ordered my 23 two weeks ago so I have a while until I get to do this install but good to know it can be done.

This is the only part in my Jeep which rusts. What’s your best advice on addressing this? Do I need to pull it and strip it entirely for recoating?

It does look like there might have been some sort of scrapes along the leading edge of the skid plate that allowed the oxidation to begin. How long has the skid plate been installed? Feel free to DM me with details if you would rather.

I have LITERALLY been meaning to post the picture of mine on this forum also. Mine looks nearly identical to yours. I love its performance, but am really disappointed in how well it's held up finish wise. We are no salt roads (sand only). I saw another comment suggesting road damage, mine shows no outside damage, just weather wear.

Thanks for posting those 'in use' photos. I have not installed mine yet, so it looks like in might be a good idea to refinish it before installation.

When they introduced this it didn’t make much sense to me. Seems like a bad place to mount a light bar. Particularly bad up here in the Northeast.
