On the fogs, I did cover the front portion of the bulb so the light wouldn't shine straight out of the front of the bulb. I thought it was too bright with the front of the bulb not covered. Covering the front of the bulb made it a big difference in softening up the light beam.
Can you elaborate on this? I am not clear on how you covered the bulb. Covered the actual LED's? If so, with what?

The front of the fog LED had 2 or 3 small LED's that shine out thru the front of the bulb. So I cut a piece of black electrical tape and covered the front part of the bulb so those LED's won't shine straight at oncoming traffic. I'll get a pic later and post it up so you can see what I did.

Ok, so I installed these last night

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07GKCNPD1/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

This morning on my way to work it seems that the high beam and low beam settings are reversed. Do I have the bulbs rotated incorrectly? There is only one way to plug into the wiring harness.

Yes, I believe the instructions for the H13 said to make sure the LED's face the 3 o'clock and 9 o'clock positions. So once you lock the bulb into the headlight housing, you need to rotate the back of the bulb (which will rotate the LED's) so the wiring is facing the 6 o'clock position. That should line up the LED's so they face 3:00 and 9:00 position. The instruction booklet explains how to orientate the bulb. :like:

I see...I didn't realize the front of them had LED's (only saw the side ones). That makes sense.

I did that, I have the leds at 3 and 9 but I have to switch on the high beams, blue indicator light on dash, for the lights to aim lower. I didn’t know if there is a difference in which led faces 3 and which faces 9.

I just did them at 9 and 3 also...but can't say that I paid attention to which one went where. Maybe I just got lucky...mine worked as expected. I have read that the wires could just be backward.

Hmm not sure. When I turn my high beams on, the light pattern raises up like it should.
Take a look and make sure the wire coming out of the bulb is facing down to the 6 o'clock position.

Just installed mine as well. Seems like they will be good. Better idea tonight. I feel like the plugs can only be connected one way. Can’t speak on the hi low beam situation until it gets dark out

Someone, please make a video! Thank you for pioneering this. I didn't want to drop a grand and i didn't want my JT all gussied up but i can definitely see doing this on the headlights for the price i'm seeing on amazon. Don't want to fry my circuits, though!

Do these command the same amperage as the halogens?

Ordered the headlights from Amazon and went with wxman’s recommendation, and ordered the supernovas for the fogs. We shall see what the combo of them look like.
You won't be disappointed. The Supernova V.4s are the best bulbs you can buy right now. And I can confirm that they are clocked properly right out of the box to work with the Jeep reflectors. Some "cheaper" LEDs may need to be clocked.

I'd put this beam pattern and light output up against the factory LED option 7 days a week and twice on Sunday.

Supernova low beams: Just look at that razor sharp cutoff.

Supernova fogs: Brighter than the noon day sun.

Screw Jeep's $1,000 package. These blow it out of the water.

Less, which is why they may work without it, but...you should use the Tazer programmer to activate the "LED" option in the vehicle computer. LED bulbs will run more efficiently and will provide better service life if you do this.
