How does the Icon lift compare on/off road to the stock Rubicon ride? Which stage did you go with? I loved my Icon lift on my Taco and am considering a Stage 2 or 3 on the JTR...

It’s an EAG bumper but was sold under KML off-road....

How is your EAG bumper powder coat holding up? Mine started rusting and flaking off after a few months.

lift kit by RK and JL Mopar fox shocks, the front end is from a Jeep JL originally a 3.5 inch lift and with front adjustable control arms. The rear is just JKS 1.5 inch lift and stock control arms. rides a little rough ? cause the coils and shocks doesn't compliment or built for JTs but it does the job fitting 37's. This kit came off of my Jeep wrangler JL Rubicon.

Getting to this point has taken just over a year, with all the supply chain issues. Special ordered 2021 Willys diesel, mostly de-stickered, 3.5" lift, 17" Black Rhino wheels, 37x12.50 tires, stubby bumper, and camper shell. Looking at winches and camping setup for the bed. And it still fits in the garage!

I can only imagine you are built like a brick shithouse...
I cannot fathom what testicular fortitude goes into putting a spare that size, on the roof of your topper/camper.
Wow.
Nice rig. I need to find some of those traction boards. Where do you find such goodness?

Thanks, hard to say, I did drive my brothers stock launch edition gladiator back in May of 2020 and it didn’t feel bouncy at all compared to how mine drove RC lifted. The added 3.5 spacers and longer RC shocks over the OEM Fox shocks did however feel bouncy and unsettled at times. With the new suspension the Jeep feels planted, no movement, and solid steering.
I had a local specialty shop tell me the rough country base shocks were junk and the next step up was mildly better.
I opted to get the rough country spring kit with shock extensions to retain the factory shocks.
He advised against the rough country springs...but when money is an issue, I’ll do it myself. ?

Lol ?, ? I have a small gantry crane & electric hoist that I used to put the spare tire up there. It was very secure but It bounced around too much on the mount I have, so I hoisted it back down. It was more for looks than function. I eventually plan on checking out the Clayton rear track bar that allows a 37” to go into the stock location. I got my recovery boards from Maxtrax USA online.

A crane. He uses a crane. Well I don’t feel so bad now. ?
I would have got that sucker up there. But holy schit. I don’t need a hernia. ?
I’ll check out maxtrax. Thank you.
