Working 168/week at retired.
Here we are bringing Old Blue home from 4x4Land in Topeka KS to TN the other week. Towed great. 11.7 MPG over 700+ miles. Pic is at the hotel we stopped at Paducah KY. Very pleased with the way it handled.

Live the fridge slide is that wide enough for a bedroll ? Or could 2 of those be installed side by side ?

You can definitely buy 2 of them to sit side by side. The also make one that is normal width, which what I have and one they advertise as "a little wider" or something like that. Regarding bedding on top, no idea, it is a drawer slide so it's going to have sides for the slides to mount to. Not to mention the bed of the truck only being 5' long. Seems like you would be creating more challenges rather than solving them.
As far as quality and Customer Service. Both are top notch, when I had a question about the install they were really helpful in explaining the details and sending me a short video if I recall.

2021 Willys. Not a whole lot done but serves my purposes and trail riding just fine for now. Paying 2 kids college tuitions limits the cash I am able to spend upgrading at this point. Only changes in the very near future will be new tires and a bit more lift. Then in 2 years when both kids are out of school, the house will be sold and I will be buying a 40 to 50 foot motor yacht to live on and a new and more modified Gladiator as a present to myself! Only one pic on my work PC that doesnt showcase the mods well. And one premod at the cabin just for the hell of it.

Current:
Rubicon suspension
1.5" spacer up front and .75" in the rear
Rubicon rims with 285/70/17 Wildpeakes
Mopar lift kit front lower control arms

Near Future changes:
35x11.5 tires
Spring and shock replacement for a bit more lift
Adjustable track bar

I really like this style of camper. Nice setup.

Went camping last weekend, the Jeep towed that little 17' Casita camper like it wasn't even there. MPG didn't suffer greatly either, I got 18.6 mpg

Ive been thinking hard about getting a popup for us. I think it would be perfect for our uses.
best thing i have every bought and it fits in my garage with the car. Pops up fast, i can take it just about anywhere, easy to keep clean. We are ready for a larger one though.

We like to camp, but we don't know that a real travel trailer is the route for us. It tends to be fair weather or winter (in Louisiana that means still warm sometimes) and I like that I can stuff a pop up into some tighter places as one of my favorite camp places is mostly just primitive sites in the woods you access via gravel trails.

Maybe in the next year or two I'll find a pre loved one that fits the budget and grab it.
