So I did the 2.5 leveling kit from metalcloack. Well it looks like the rear is sagging. So I contacted metalcloack and they said they’ve heard of that issue. So they said to add a 3.5 in coil lift to the rear. Metalcloack said it should only lift the truck by half inch. So have y’all heard of where there is a 2.5 front lift and a 3.5 lift in the rear? Thanks in advance.

That's interesting that they would lift 2.5 inches in the front and no rear. You can add spacers to the rear to level things out. Just figure how much height you need and put in that amount. you can buy spacers for the rear in a variety of sizes.

Not sure why they wouldn't have a rear option. However, if you level the front out anything more than say a 1.5 inches, you could almost expect the rear to look saggy. That's a given. I wouldn't have went that route personally. I leveled out with the Teraflex and did nothing to the rear and looks even. Some that want to lift but keep a slight bit of rake, opt for the rear Daystar spacer lift with the Teraflex fronts. I personally didn't see the need to. So I just did the front. However, mine is 1.5 which is why my rear doesn't look saggy as you mentioned. Anything over 1.5 spacers, I wouldn't even consider a "spacer" lift at that point and would just go with an all out actual lift kit (of various brands to choose from). More expensive yes, but it's that or a simple spacer lift. 2.5 inches, I really wouldn't consider simple, for a leveling kit.

The stock rake isn't that dramatic normally. So over-doing the front anything over 1.5 will give that effect. Still doesn't explain why Metaclok wouldn't have a rear option if they're selling that. Further more reason why I wouldn't have went with Metaclok for a spacer lift, nor have I heard of anyone.

Just my 2 cents

Photo reference below. Teraflex 1.5 leveling kit up front only. Side note I do have rubicon suspension on my Overland.

I have the MC 2.5 leveling kit. Added 1/2 inch spacers to the back and it is very level. BUT, any weight in the bed and it does not look level. I am ordering the rear MC shocks, 3.5 inch springs and a rear track bar. I was told it basically makes it a lift kit. If I had it to do over, I would have just put a lift kit in. Live and learn. I just got rims and tires. Had 33s and these are 35.

I have a hard time believing their 3.5" coils only lift the truck 1/2". That doesn't make any sense. Why would they call them 3.5" lift coils if they only lift 1/2"?

That’s what I have and I already have the 3.5 rear coils. Are your ordering 3.5 coils for front and rear or just the rear. Just curious.

Well that’s what I’m confused about. I did a 2.5 leveling kit. Meaning only lifted the front 2.5 inches. They don’t have have 2.5 rear coils. So they told me to add a 3.5 in rear coil. That would give me about a half inch higher in the rear than the front.

Didn't make sense to me either but I emailed MC and asked if I should do a lift or can I add the coils and shocks. He said coil shocks and suggested I get the rear track bar. It's around 600 for those parts.

No, just the rear coils, shocks and a track bar for the rear.

I definitely wouldn't do that. MC recommending this is dumb. You have a leveling kit and obviously want a more level ride than stock.

Do a 1" spacer or a 1" lift coil.

I have shocks, coils. I guess I need the rear track bar. Let me know what they say. I called them last time and they answered and told me what to do.

I already talked to them and was told if I get the rear shocks, coils, and track bar, it will be good.

I fail to see the logic to this. If the truck sits around 1.5 inches higher in the rear from the factory. You added 2.5 inches in the front which would make it sit 1inch higher in the front than the rear. So adding the 3.5 inch springs in the rear if they actually add 3.5 over stock. Would have you sitting 2.5 inches higher than the front. That would be 1 inch more rake than you started with. I would do like suggested here and add a 1in spacer in the rear or some rubicon rear springs if yours is a sport.

This right here makes sense. It really does. But I don’t know why MC keeps saying 3.5

I just looked at the measurements of the springs. The leveling kit front springs are 21.75 tall. The 3.5 rear springs are 20.5 inches tall. I don't know if that helps figuring stuff out.
