Back in '17 I was on another forum a rather large one and it too had a thread "Best Deal" or words to that effect. It like MPG threads began around just about Invoice to as much as 25% below Invoicer and little or no fees, just like the mpg thread stats with X.x mpg and by page 7 its XX.X

So I called and I took pics of my paperwork. I had ended up buying at 9.8% under invoice incl TT&L...I found it interesting in that in about 24 pages of ever-increasing better and better deals, my post showing pics and my lowly 9.8% below invoice deal was the LAST post in that thread. But I sure got a lot of PM's asking for the details of how I got that deal.

Is Faricy the best you've found around the front range? I was up there today to talk to them about trying to place an order. They told me to call back Monday to talk to the internet sales manager about it as no one there today had the authorization to do anything like what I was asking.
Shannon at Faricy is who you talk to. Have her build your order, she’ll likely come back with MSRP or some garbage. She did that a few times with me in April. Then SHE reached back out to me in late May wanting to place the order. I told her I was looking to purchase before end of May (3 days later) and had her build it again. Same high offer. I thanked her for her time and told her I had an offer at (whatever 5% below my invoice was), and to let me know is she had any flexibility. She emailed back 11 minutes later with price match. Best part is I actually paid 6.2% below invoice, because their fees were (I assume accidentally) rolled into the price. Shannon was great and responsive, she passed me off on Jim Carroll who was also great. I also did not have to finance with them and did not have a trade in. Might not get as lucky as me, but hopefully they are desperate around July 31st like they were May 31st. Even at 2-3% below invoice, I would highly recommend buying from Faricy.

That is who I am talking to now. She said the best she can do right now is 3% below invoice as long as I become a member of tread lightly and get the FCA affiliate discount. She also said there is no requirement to finance through them but she cant pass on any kind of discounts or perks from financing through them at that price either. As a side note though, I also got my '16 hardrock appraised as a possible trade in and they came 2k below what Perkins had offered me for it. That was a little disheartening. Is 3% going to be the best rate along the front range?

Like I said, I may have gotten really lucky. John Elway in Greeley was at 3% below invoice without negotiating, but no one other than them and Faricy went below invoice. My experience with Faricy was excellent and I would have been happy even at 3%.

Also, look into The Access Fund. They are an FCA Affiliate and I think membership was only $30/year. It’s a climbing advocacy group out of Boulder. I bought a membership in March but affiliate pricing wasn’t available, so I pretty much donated my $30.

Tread lightly does not apply to the gladiator yet so if they accept it make sure it's in writing

I placed my order today for a Rubi build at 3% below invoice and a military discount on top of it. I also have an email with her specifically stating I have to be a member of tread lightly for 30 days before I can get my control number from them to use on when I pick up my Jeep. So now its just the 8-12 week wait. I didn't order anything cosmic so hopefully I am closer to the 8 week side.

Maybe it changed but in the beginning people that were getting there gladiators from tri city had honored tread lightly but stopped doing it because fca wasn't giving it for the gladiator. I'll see if I can dig some threads up .edit here's one https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/forum/threads/jeep-dealer-rescinds-fca-affiliate-pricing.17482/

Here is what I was told by my dealer which is a BIG dealer here in S Tx. Originally is was not to be honored on the LE but was to be honored on others. Now my dealer told me no problem I would get the 1% anyhow. Then I suspect Tread Lightly crowd did not exactly like that the Glad was exempt, so FCA changed it real quick.

Now here things get fuzzy, my dealer called me and said do you want a LE, that FCA had opened up additional builds due to demand FCA was going to continue to take orders for LE's for 2 more weeks. I told him I did not care as long as I got all the things I wanted...then he adds that the LE comes as an LE and there are no add ons and something I wanted or did not want was a no go, I said fine then let me just go with my order as it stands. My sales guy makes $200-250k a year selling Jeeps.

Anyhow, it looks like FCA kinda has FUBAR'd the party. I ended up taking a pass on my JT and have opted to wait on the diesel, sure hope I am not let down. FCA can say what the want about the 7k tow but the gas engine is a DOG, it should have NEVER gone in the Jeep at all.

Everything that I've seen is fubard up from the Le to ordering to haggling with dealers. I'd rather wait and let all this die down and let them get there shi$ together at the plant. Hopefully by the first of the year everything will be sorted out and by then I'll have the money to get one
