Right now I have the leveling spacers on my Willy's sport. Considering a 3.5" lift but not sure how much higher it will be than where it's at now. Looking at pictures of others with that much of a lift doesn't look much higher than what mine currently is but I'm not sure and don't want to waste money if it isn't much higher. Currently running 35s and would consider 37s when these wear down but not sure. I believe I read you need the 3.5 lift to run 37.

There's no answer to your question without knowing the end use of your vehicle. Mall crawler, rock crawler, overlander, etc. And then you get into added onboard weight, fore and aft. There's lots of members here who can be of some guidance, but they will need much, much more info. Are 37's possible without a lift?

Yes... https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/forum/threads/37’s-with-no-lift.29695/post-985377

But end useability depends largely on what you want out of your JT.

I've had it for over two years and have yet to take it offroad. Wanted to but usually have something else more important but I would like to eventually. So I guess mainly just a daily driver.

My spacers 1.5" simply set the jeep to stock height after I had driven it some and installed a winch.

My 2.5" lift added a true 2.5" after taking out the spacers.

A 3.5" will be a big change.

Tho if your just mall crawling ya really need it?

Spacers up front alone and you can run 37s. I did that for a few miles while deciding what parts to buy for my lift. Mine is an Overland so I don’t have the fancy high line fenders either.

Here's where it sits now. Do I need it seeing as I'm rarely going to take it offroad? No. But I love the look of a good lift as I'm sure a lot more guys who don't go offroad do. I've had a '19 and a '21 Ram 1500 that I put lifts on and never went offroad with but I loved how they looked .

I'm not really concerned with fitting 37s on it. My main question is after installing a 3.5" lift, how much more height will I get over this current leveling spacer setup? The leveling spacers are the Rough Country 2.5" type. If I'm right, the lift in a 3.5" kit is how much it lifts the front then the back parts level it out. If that's correct, does that mean I'd only get roughly 1" over where it's at now? And assuming I went with 37s, that would give me roughly another inch up over the 35s.

2” spacer lift on 37s is top pic in both. Bottom pic is 4.5 RK on 40s for top. Second bottom pic is 2.5 rubicon express lift on 37s

the back end on 40s has leveled out now that suspension settled.

your name is on the title, nobody else’s. Do as you please.

A 3.5” lift will net you roughly one more inch in the front and another 3-3.5 in the rear depending on what manufacturer you’re looking at It looks like you have just spacers in the front now and nothing in the back which is why the truck sits as level as it does, am I right?

When I finally lifted mine, I went 4.5” front and 3” rear because I like the leveled stance. It’s not for everyone, but it is for me.

What lift kit were you interested in, there’s probably several people here who could help you out more if we had specifics.

Another point to consider is that the amount of lift you’ll actually get versus what the manufacturer says is highly dependent on the brand.

AEV and I believe Metalcloak will actually lift your truck more than what they state the lift is. I have the AEV lift on mine and love it.
