Yep yet another Jeep I once owned 79 Cherokee thing was a beast. I wish I could find a pic of the eagles had lmaoSomewhere an SJ is plotting your death.

At first the eagle was by AMC. There was a smaller version of it called the spirit. When AMC was taken over by Chrysler it became the Jeep Eagle. Fyi.Was the Eagle by Jeep? Or, AMC?
I had one of those and totally agree. Had a 360 in it. I think that was my first jeep. That or the 1979 CJ7. Wish I had them today.Yep yet another Jeep I once owned 79 Cherokee thing was a beast. I wish I could find a pic of the eagles had lmao
I put my whole squad in it and when off road lmaoI had one of those and totally agree. Had a 360 in it. I think that was my first jeep. That or the 1979 CJ7. Wish I had them today.

Mine had vacuum switches to go in and out of 4x4Refresh my memory. It was full time 4wd with a little shifter almost under the seat for 4 low?
I just jeep would go back to hub lockersQuadratrac was a great idea that became way too complicated. I had a switch in the glovebox to lock it in 4wd otherwise it used slip.
I’m trying to find a pic of a liberty out wheeling lmaoIf it is branded a Jeep, then, it is a Jeep..... but, there is a huge difference between Jeep steel frame 4WD vehicles and Jeep unibody 4WD vehicles.... For me, Jeep steel frame 4WD vehicles are the "real Jeeps" --- if I can contradict myself... lol..
I had an 04 liberty limited that wheeled as good as my 97 Sahara. Best jeep vehicle overall I ever owned. Finally croaked at 290,000 miles. Basically a Wrangler with a covered truck bed, balanced perfectly. Powered perfectly. Freeway. 4X4 was perfectly suited to highway speed and four low crawling, highway, country road, dirt road, no road, blizzard, flood, 121 degrees, minus 27 degrees, towing small trailer, below sea level up to 11,000 feet, sleepable, evening out, bail of hay, every damn thing. Never met a challenge I couldn't conquer somehow in that thing. Not saying it went up a waterfall, and I would have preferred a stick; just saying it always got to the top somehow in style. I've been waiting for years to say that. Thanks for the chance!!I’m trying to find a pic of a liberty out wheeling lmao
