Thanks. My current steps are 4" so this would provide a little lower step which would be good for the wife and kids.Mine are about 5 1/2 inches from the step to the bottom of the door.

No code available through the website. Just email them and tell them you're a forum member. They will give you a discount. I think mine was a 10% discount, plus free shipping. Is there an available discount code for the LOD Website to purchase these steps?
Biggest issue I ran into was confusion on my part and also instructions that were not super clear. I used the wrong bolt in this hole (center mount on passenger side) and ended up cross-threading the bolt/hole. Wouldn't tighten and wouldn't come out. Had to cut it off. My options will be to drill this out or take it someplace to put a few beads of weld around that lower bracket attachment.

The instructions said to use the self-threading bolts - but this is what I got and used. I should have slowed down and paid more attention...

I had a hole already there in the frame and used a bolt with the wrong thread! The #16 bolt in the instructions ended up being one of two supplied but mixed in (and I did not notice the difference) with the other thicker threaded bolts. So, again, my bad for not really thinking this through. One of those bolts would have screwed in perfectly, I suspect!

Pro tip (credit goes to @Northridge4x4 for the suggestion) .... use a little silicone on the bolts before trying to get them into those backing plates... I've pulled mine a couple times while putting on some rocker armor and it's so much easier....

Yes. It's on the passenger side. Don't know if all years have them. I think it is a shipping bracket - not needed now. Here are the pics of me cutting it off and then hitting it with some paint. Used an angle grinder with a cut off wheel and then a grinding wheel to get the burs off.The instructions state that a bracket on the side of the frame needs to be cut off? Is that correct?
I been looking at these, jcr crusader, oem performance steps and s3 power sports ambush.
Each has their pros and cons. Money being a factor as well.
I read from another member that jcr crusader squeaking a lot due to the pinch weld mounting but they look good and have rock lights, would be kinda cool. $1100 ish
LOD destroyer look good and frame mounted with more reviews and still $1100 ish
S3 power sports ambush are more oem performance step equivalent with rock lights as well but Idk of anyone with real life experience with these step/sliders? $550
Mopar oem performance steps/sliders don't have much step to them but I found them local for $550
I really do like the jcr and lod... But with jcr I'm worried about the squeaking. Now for the record I'm not a hardcore offroader. Forester service roads, overlanding, and occasional rock play... So any information about expiences with any of the ones I listed?
They are rock slider steps... Pretty sure you can use a jack on themAre these steps, or are they strong enough to use as a high-lift jack point?
