I am looking for help/information on installing power door locks on my wife's new 2020 Gladiator Sport. This could run from a DIY to taking it to a pro. Should I look at using OEM parts or are there good after market kits to look at? I have installed a lot of remote start systems in all type of vehicles, including my Kubota tractor! I've also installed many different lighting options such as work lights, driving lights, LED light bars and so forth so I do have some experience that I'm sure would be put to good use if need be. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

I would just get an inexpensive car alarm and four actuators and install it, just looked in Amazon, parts will be under $100 for everything. I would not bother with OEM.

It's $500 at my local shop to get it done, I had got a quote back in April on it. Still planning on doing it, just front and rear bumpers and winch took priority over doing the locks.

Here is the kit for it

I figured $200 for them to do the work would be worth it to me. My time is worth more than that.
That's an awesome price for that kit. I was an installer for Circuit City for 15 years and used DEI quite exclusively. Great products, and I still use them to this day on side jobs. I was thinking about adding keyless to my JT Sport, and I'll have to keep this in mind. Thanks for posting the link!

Or save the money and use your fingers? If you wanted it done why not drop the extra on the sport s originally?

Cheaper to have it done after the fact, that's one of the reasons I didn't do it and I do not want power windows. If you get the power doors you have to get power windows also.

Check the JL wrangler forum there is a step by step post on how to do it with OEM parts and the tricks involved.
