I find my mostly stock Rubicon with a winch and soft topper averages 15ish in daily driving which is mostly trips under 20 miles. At steady highway speeds that will climb to 17+. These just aren't efficient vehicles and the winter gas as many others have stated will take a big bite. You didn't buy your truck for the mileage, did you? Did you?

It's a cost and not one I love but in return I gain lots of capability, utility and fun. Love the one you're with.

Wow !! I guess I’m lucky with my overland I guess ? Now with 3000 miles on the clock I get 20-21 around town right now and have seen 26 on highway last fall with summer gas. That being said I am at higher elevation around 4500 feet and up and have stock all weather tires. All this is going by the speedo mpg, never did it on paper so who knows ? My old dodge Dakota use to say I was getting a couple mpg better with the gauge then when calculating my self ?

3.6L gas, 373, auto and living in central Texas. City driving is mostly flat, except for huge flyover ramps, and I drive a couple of those everyday. The weather has been waffling between 35 and 70 degrees since December.
yeah 35 to 78 here in houston! our kooky weather................ ?

Where I live in so cal I'm getting 12.5 during the summer and about 13.5 now that I'm not blasting the ac all the time. However my last trip to Tucson and sedona I was getting 16-18 on the roads in that area. Both predominantly in town driving figures. Just goes to show how volatile fuel economy can be due to a number of factors.

2022 Willys - All factory except different side steps. I get about 16-17mpg but I only drive about 12 minutes each way to work so mostly city driving. When I take the 60mile trips each way to the inlaws, I get about 18-19mpg. That's even with a light foot.

Here's a plot of my MPG since I bought my JT in Dec 2021. The winter is bad, but for me I think it's because my youngest son plays hockey from Nov-Feb and I sit and idle a lot waiting for him at practice while I read a book or listen to podcasts

You can see the "low" months more than offset the high ones. Most often I'm well above the 15.4 average shown by the red average line.

I have a 6MT with BFG KO2 37's and have not regeared - running the factory 4.10.

I have only been tracking my mileage since the begining of the year when I lifted and slapped on the 37's. These are my stats after 6 fill-ups with 5500 miles on the odometer. I'm located in flat Florida. I drive pretty conserative.

I’m only getting city 14.9 and highway 15.5. The advertised MPG is higher and I read about others on this forum getting higher as well.

I have about 4000 miles on my 22 Willys. No exterior, drivetrain or computer mods. Came with 32” Nittos. I try to be easy off the line.

Does anyone know possible causes? And is there any recourse with Jeep to get back into the MPG ballpark?
Speaking as a diesel owner, there's certain optimal conditions where my gladiator can hit advertised numbers but it's not realistic during everyday driving. My average combined is roughly 19 and that's with a light foot.

That’s pretty bad I’m getting 15-16 with 37s. What’s your estimated range when you fill up?

My stock Overland used to get about 20 mpg highway if I stayed around 70. I now have a 2inch lift, steel bumper with winch, 34" tires and get more like 17 - 18 and it forgot it has an 8th gear. I bought a brick.
