Lunch box locker will need the pins inside replaced at some point. Depending on miles and abuse. Maybe not in the front Axle with the FAD still functioning.I ran a Detroit in a Ford 8.8 that I put in my TJ. I had a lunch box locker in the front. Both worked well. I installed both myself, but since I was doing an axle swap the Detroit went in the rear axle. Lunch box lockers a great especially if you don't want to pull the axle or don't have access to a lift. I have run them in several vehicles and the just work.
eLockers and air lockers are nice, but you are adding in other failure points at a high expense.
