I ran a Detroit in a Ford 8.8 that I put in my TJ. I had a lunch box locker in the front. Both worked well. I installed both myself, but since I was doing an axle swap the Detroit went in the rear axle. Lunch box lockers a great especially if you don't want to pull the axle or don't have access to a lift. I have run them in several vehicles and the just work.

eLockers and air lockers are nice, but you are adding in other failure points at a high expense.
Lunch box locker will need the pins inside replaced at some point. Depending on miles and abuse. Maybe not in the front Axle with the FAD still functioning.

OK, so I see the Torqmaster seems to be a front locker only? I can't seem to find a rear lunchbox locker. I hate "lights before lockers" but at this point, I've been waiting and gave up and put lights on first

Well, I have the Torqmaster on order for the front of my Willys. Mine has the stock LSD in the rear currently, but when I regear that will probably get swapped out for a TrueTrac. I'll post back once it's installed and I have a change to wheel it some.
