Wanted to give people an update. I picked my JT up last night after gear/locker install. I had both front and rear done and I am going with Air Actuated.

My guy said install itself went smooth and easy with no issues. The only problem is at full droop the rear sway bar hits the air line thats connected in the diff cover. Im going to take a look at it today but I think my solution will be adding about 1" spacer on the axle to push it away. Just need to make sure that doesnt cause it to hit anything else. Oh and I have not ran the lines yet, deciding where to mount the co2 bottle.

Also keep in mind I have the fabricated diff covers, so Im not sure if that plays apart or not.

Got around to running the air lines and switches. Im using the S-Tech switches. I decided to mount my co2 bottle in the bed vs in the cab. This way I didnt have to run any extra lines or wires inside, made for a simple install. I need to clean it up a bit and tie back the air line in the bed, but tested and functions as it should

Had my lockers installed front and rear with 4.88 gears. It seems my rear differential cover is leaking around the actuators welds. Not super happy right now.

Pretty surprised about that. Have you cleaned it up thoroughly and driven around to see if it's a constant leak or was just leftover from the install? If it's continually I'm sure OX will make it right and send new covers. Keep us posted

It is continuous, I wipe the differential cover off before every drive and it turns out the same every time. I’m taking it off tomorrow and having a local welder repair it.

If you're concerned about warranty with it I'd make sure you at least let Ox know, they might void warranties for any user mods. I know there's not much to fail on the cover itself, but if that bung has any actuator parts on it they may not approve. I gotta imagine they'd be able to ship you a new one within a week.

I did email them to say I was going to have it TIG welded. The nice thing about TIG welding is it’s very nice and clean, just takes patience. You’re able to watch the material puddle and get a good welded joint. Waiting to here back from OX today. The bung is welded on both sides and there is a fork that slides with it. I’ll take pictures of the cover in a little bit. I’m going to have to take my sway bar off to reseat my differential cover though.

Has anyone installed Ox lockers with the electric shifting option? If you did, did you use the switches that comes with the electrical actuators? Where did you mount them?

Ox locker is getting me a new cover, the other one is completely botched from the welder.

I had them installed with the electrical actuators. I’m using an spod for the switching. The Spod is switching a relay coil which is switching the grounds.

Replaced the cover, the new cover is nice but the threads for the actuator were not good. Did not have the proper tap and had to run the drive away lock through it. After doing that a few times I was finally able to attach my cable.

With anyone that has done electronic acuation, would the factory mopar aux switches work to activate them, or would i need something else?

You can use the factory aux switches to switch a relay. The relay would then switch the ground for the linear actuator.

This is exactly what I did. Aux #3 switches a relay to activate the front locker and Aux #4 switches a relay to activate the rear.

I just had the ox locker installed as well as 4.56 gears. i went with the electronic actuation system because i did not want to go with the air. i set up aux switch 1 as the power for the relay to activate the front locker. i have the trac lock on the rear. that is why i only did the front.
