Bingo!!!From what I have read, if the harness connectors are on top on the ECM its not compatible...
Sucks to hear...and I appologize that this image is stuck in my head. Just thinking about that SC lolProbably going to pull the supercharger and go back to stock. I know it is a priority for HP Tuners to provide support for the new ECM, but I'm going to assume that that priority for them is not as high as it is for me. I work from home, but it is proving too much of an inconvenience to only have one daily driver available.
I did consider buying a beater to hold me over, but I know I'll end up spending money on some car from my childhood that I always wanted. I tried looking, and next thing I know, I'm placing bids on low mileage BMW Z3 M coupes.
Not a big deal, and no apology necessary. Only way you could have caught that hiccup was if you were there when I bought the Jeep, and if you stopped me from handing over the cash when I bought the supercharger. I appreciate all your help in figuring out why I couldn't get a read on the engine.Sorry that happened. I really wish I could.of caught that earlier for you. It has been cool talking and working with you. Once you have that all available I can let people know you have a kit. I am sure someone would snap up the small pulley setup.
Thats about what I would be told under similar circumstances....Got vetoed by the wife. The supercharger stays installed and I wait for HP Tuners to provide support. She told me to just buy another car.
That.....is really all that matters.I am good about finding it all and getting it put up when the job is complete.
I'm at about the same spot. Lowe intake ready to go on, but I forgot to order plugs prior to starting, and they came in yesterday. Going to swap those today, and start on bolting the intake up.Fuel rail install is super tight. Was thinking of getting some fuel line to replace the stock crossover line to make install a bit easier. Thoughts?
Also, one of the damn fuel rail bolt holes was not drilled deep enough and the bolt wont seat all the way down... Took to a mchaine shop to fix... Otherwise install going well...
A little extra fuel line seems fine to me. I don't remember having much of an issue there. Now, I could definitely go back and add some length to the PCV line that connects to the Clean Air Tube fitting. That one required quite a bit of tugging to get it connected.Fuel rail install is super tight. Was thinking of getting some fuel line to replace the stock crossover line to make install a bit easier. So...just to give everyone a heads up, if you have a late '21 model or newer Gladiator, the ECM is a newer model that HP Tuners does not currently support. So...maybe hold off on ordering that Maggie until you know you can load the tune to make it driveable.
OOF!Wow, this blows me away. I have tuned a number of 2021 Jeeps. They made a controller switch mid model year.
