I see that now. It looks like with Sport S you can, but have to get the Safety Group as well.Don't trust the build tool on the website. Go by the latest build guide.
I just went through this when I ordered mine on Oct 22. For some reason the configurator doesn't show it, but the dealer went through it when entering it on the order. He told me that you can order the LED package on a max tow, but you must get the safety package as well (which includes the LED tail lights). All in all, you end up spending almost $2000 for the LED headlights and Fogs. Of course you get the blind spot monitor and park sense. For me I didn't want the blind spot or park sense, so 2k for LED's didn't make sense. I will pay $650 for the Oracle Headlights and possibly the fogs too. Much cheaper and some have said they are better than the factory LED setup. Is the factory LED package worth it? IMO it looks like you can get OEM for around the same price as the package or aftermarket for less money.
Rubicon is not max tow as you edited, but Sport with max tow has the same wide front axle.Aside from Picking a Rubicon, is there any other model that will allow the Max tow package and the LED light group together?
Edit: I realize the Rubi doesn't offer the max tow but it does offer the Heavy-Duty Dana® 44 Wide Front Axle
I knew that and I'm not sure why I worded it the way I did. yes, the max tow gives you what the Rubicon has. thanks.Rubicon is not max tow as you edited, but Sport with max tow has the same wide front axle.
Max tow Sport gets you the same width axle. Rubicon is not wider, nor heavier-duty.
Maybe you mean ratio and width - because the max tow doesn't give you 'what the Rubicon has' OTHER than the 4.10 ratio and the wider axles.I knew that and I'm not sure why I worded it the way I did. yes, the max tow gives you what the Rubicon has. thanks.
