I've been thinking the MC lift looks short for a 3.5 lift.
Whats the specs on the other two JTs in the bottom pic? The black one looks taller.
The black one had a Mopar 2"

3.5 JT Game Changer installed. Looks like I picked up just over 3.5” at the front bumper but only .25” at the rear hitch. Front should settle a bit in time. Happy so far, may need a small puck added to the rear.

If anyone in the sacramento area is looking for Rubicon take-off suspension, wheels and tires, let me know!

I have the MC front track bar on the way. Instructions are showing the need to possibly grind out the housing a bit to fit the head of the trackbar. Anyone put one in a Gladiator...did you need to grind?

Yes, you need to grind. Deburring bit in a drill and took a good 45 min to open the window enough. It was a pain.

10-4 I have a Dremel with a tungsten carbide grinding bit - hoping that will do the trick.

I put one in a JL using a Dremel. Between the metal cutting wheel and the heavy sanding drum, it wasn’t too bad.
The deed is done. Grinded it out with the Dremel and got it in place.

I grinded just enough to where everything lined up easily to get the bolt through.

Wondering if it should be opened up more to fully clear the head or if the bolt goes through, check it off and finish the install?

Does it rotate freely when the suspension flexes?

Congrats on the MC installs - getting ready to do mine but would like to ask a favor if possible, since you both just stepped thru the process. Would you guys mind shooting me a pic of the final opening you ground out of the window pocket and the rough measurements / dimensions? This is the only part of the MC lift that has me a bit apprehensive, and I'd really (really) like to have something of a rough template to go by. I'd be forever in your debt. Thanks guys, if you get the time.

*also let me know if you guys ended up using all the front/rear pucks provided in the kit - I seem to recall Eric at MC recommending to throw them all in to start, for 37 in tires.

Edit: Had some more time to take to it a little bit more. The head of the trackbar is 1.5". My opening is 1 3/16 - 1 1/4 Taking it to be wider than 1.5" would call for eating into that weld a little bit on rear side and almost coming flush with the rounded edge on the front side. Looking at the pictures closely on their install instructions it doesn't appear that they took out that much. @Captn_Obvious

The hole is clean and easy to line up the trackbar and get the bolt through.

Have some grease on hand to lube it up. It's a tight squeeze to get both ends in the brackets.

On 3.5 GC lift with the falcon 3.3’s and a flipped drag link, I am at 3 bumpstops all the way around.

@tech teacher thank you very much, I was wondering about the width of the opening in terms of that weld and front edge area - this is a huge help sire.. thank you again.

A couple of my arms had some similar marring in few spots.. forget who I was speaking with out there at MC (before I ordered), we were talking about their zinc coating treatment process, and whoever it was said something about how it was possible for this to happen during one of their tooling processes, but not to worry, so when I saw a few places like that in the finish I already had a heads up - they assured me even in areas like that that they basically would NOT rust. Hopefully that's the case.
