Thanks for the feedback, rig looks great with the 37s I'm going with 36s and just ordered a 2.5 lift , going to stay with the 4:10s for now and get a feel for it. We both be ave the same color too
Perfect! 36's will be great. I went 37's because it was a 50% off deal I couldn't pass up. Only running 2" spacers and longer Bilstein shocks for now. I'm trying to keep the height low but diffs high. What lift you looking at? I installed a nice JKS lift on my wife's JL last year.

I recently traded a 22 grand Cherokee overland with a v6 penstar engine and replaced it with a 24 gladiator with the same motor. My question is this I was consistently getting between 18 and 20 mpg in the Cherokee but the new jeep seems to be much lower, 14 to 16. The rug has 10,000 on it now.should I be getting better mpg then that? For clarification it's a Rubicon on 33's with 4:10s and automatic

Should my factory lifted rubby on 33's with 4.10s be getting better then 15-17? NO bro, be glad it gets over 10mpg! :CWL:

It's like I'm the only older guy here who had lifted YJ's TJ's and stuff. Man a lifted JY on 33's with 4.10 gears? WE would have DIED for 15mpg. :CWL::CWL::CWL::CWL:

Patience, and an aversion to braking, greatly improve fuel economy.

However:
Never ride behind a Buick. Or anyone with a Raiders sticker.
That was actually the second of my grandmother's three life rules, right after
Never argue with an idiot.

Well I'm that way with mustangs. LOL I"m on my 12th stang.

This is my 4th jeep I"ve owned. YJ, TJ, JK, JT (i didn't own the TJ very long) But have owned a bunch of other 4x4 trucks. Like 15-20mpg in these things (sold front axle) is not bad.

Superlift, like you I wanted to keep it as low as I could without having and rubbing when I'm all twisted up

Yeah I’m still a bit conflicted as far as the height goes. I don’t want to be super high for off camber, but I want break over as well. I know the arms I’m going to use. I’m in the process of researching springs. Talk about a Rabbit Hole.

Well, I went straight to 2.5" and although it has got me over most of what I have encountered I am moving to 3.5" because I have scraped the frame bottom of pumpkins and the and few other places . Lots of sanding & painting this summer . I would almost go to 4.5" but then I am a cheapskate and dont want to dish for 37" tires

Im thinking 3.5 as well. I’m on 37” with around 2” Mopar lift thing and high clearance fenders. I could get away with 2.5” if all I was concerned with is flex but I need the break over too so 3.5”. Then again I’m a huge fan of low center of gravity builds so maybe 2.5” and move up to 38”. My Rabbit Hole continues. :crying:

Low center of gravity is cool looking but it really comes down to One thing ..is ypur intention to ever go off roading or rock climbing to the degree of extreme flex or over big obstacles. 38's with 2.5" doesnt give a lot of room for flexing .

The fenders give me a good bit of up-travel to work with. I’ll have to measure it out and see exactly how much. And that’s just with a 2” Mopar lift. I’d imagine a 3.5” would allow for a lot more if I get the bump stops set up just perfectly. I’m not too good with Mathulations but I figure going to a 38” from 37” only takes 1/2” away from up-travel at the same lift height.
