Minimum lift budget

Hello, first post!

I just got a JT sport, (traded up from a 13 JKU, had a RC BB on it, always wished i had put springs under the front at least) looking to spice it up a little, I do some trails nothing extreme here in WV and i'm looking to do something in the 1,100$ range including shocks. planning on running a small 35

so here is where i'm leaning at the moment, and about to start purchasing pieces, I could use some input if i'm messing up or there are better options for my small budget.

Teraflex 2.5 front springs, .5" rear spacer and links kit for 395
mopar +.25" arms for 80
adj fr track bar RC forged for 150 (had on my JKU and it was fine) maybe could go to the JKS for 250
Tereaflex driveline spacer 20
Eibach Pro Truck 500

puts me at about 1150$ is there a better way to spend my money?
opinions welcome but that really is about my budget.

Almost heaven…I miss it!

I went a similar route as you in terms of a frankenlift. This is my first jeep so I enjoyed the piece by piece additions as a learning experience. Making it work while staying in a tight budget was kind of fun.

I get it ppl dont want to beat a dead horse here and there must be a zillion threads similar to this one, really just kind of curious if anything jumps out at people or there is a clearly better choice. I know the mention of RC turns ppl off....

No experience with it, but looks like a great option for the price. Metalcloak makes nice stuff. And you’re getting arms, track bar, sway bar links, bumpstops, coils, coil pads. That’s a lot of parts for $800!

I think with either of the lifts you mentioned you will be sitting high in the front on a sport with just a 3/4 spacer in the rear. Clayton makes a 1.5in leveling kit that may pair well with a 3/4 spacer in rear. You could also do a rubicon take off suspension. That should add 3/4 to 1in lift and most go for around $300 on marketplace with shocks. Also add a teraflex 1in spacer to the front to help level it some.

i see the metalcloak does say for Rubicon, teraflex does not specify models and comes with a .5" rear spacer only. I have also seen sport lifts bunched in with the Rubicon only Mojave are typically listed seperately, i have a msg in to teraflex and metalclaok to see what it would take to make them sit level

Metalcloak advertising that for a Rubi means you should get a little more lift on yours. But they do have a model option when selecting the kit options and it adds $50 for a non-Rubi. Maybe this gives you a slightly shorter spring?

Might want to talk to them and find out about how much lift on your Sport and if you can swap to a shorter coil if you want less lift.

If you could get about 2.5” in the front, I’d use a 1” spacer in the rear. Will be close to level. About 1/2” higher in the rear.

at 1200 you could do OEM mopar too

FYI mopar says you don't need a new track bar at 2ish inches (they call there lift 2 but most people get almost 3)

so you could save a little money there for the start

The $50 difference is the Front Swaybar end links; on the Rubi's you get a fixed link and the non-Rubi's get the quick disconnect links.

I just bought & installed the 2.5" True Dual Kit (4 coils) with RockSport shocks and so far driven about 20 miles and I like it. Rides a little stiffer than stock rubicon springs & fox shocks, but its not in a bad way. I needed a stiffer rear coil for towing.

Initial measurements, I gained 4.25" in front and 3.75" in the rear on my Overland (no added weight).
