I see 6 pages of comments, so you probably have enough answers, but.....
I drive a full size Silverado daily at work and often tow a trailer with it (automatic). I also have a 1979 Ford F-100 (manual) that I've been slowly turning into my 'daily driver' as my drive to work is 6 miles (so 12 miles total commute). I love that I have the Mojave (manual) to also drive, and might be more for a weekend driver pending how reliable the F100 keeps going. I'm in Florida, so plenty of days out of the year with the top off.
I love having the Mojave for HD/Lowes runs, going on some trails, and taking my mountain bike to places. I may even end up using it to tow a light aluminum boat in the future. I doubt this answers your question, but I do like driving the Mojave around vs full size trucks around town. I still like driving the F100, but that's mostly because of how old it is and it's kind of awesome driving old vehicles.

Came from Ram 1500 ownership for many years. I as well do not need the full-size truck any longer or the high towing capacity. JT's are without a doubt a different animal in every way.

With that said, I did about a year's worth of research on the JT so I could be fully prepared for the differences from a full-sized. When my dealer paid me more than I paid for my 2020 Laramie, it got me in a comfortable price neighborhood to order my Mojave.

Now having my Gladiator since March of this year, I have ZERO regrets on my purchase. Love the ride of the Mojave model with the overall attitude right from the factory. Everything I expected. The part I really like is that I am the only one in my area that has one. Can't argue with that!

Don't worry about the nay-sayers. You get what you want. :like:

I’m here to give you the cold hard truth, I came from a 19 Raptor to a 20 Rubicon just this month. All my friends hated the gladiator in pics when I was showing off my potential purchase! It took a lot but I had to realize it’s not about what other people like it’s about me! I made the trade and so far I like it! I will say you’re going to miss the room, this truck is TINY! But it’s not too much to toss a trailer on the back and keep going, I’ll also say that it ride a LITTLE harder than the Raptor, but nothing too bad, the looseness of the steering is ok and you’ll get used to it, but the big moment that changed everyones opinion was when I got it naked, even windshield unbolted naked, that’s when the fun factor came in and now everyone loves it! You’ll miss your f150 but you won’t hate the gladiator either! Congrats on the purchase!

If you are not just dead set on a Mojave look at a Rubicon or other model where the Diesel is available. Almost the same horsepower, almost twice the torque and mid 20 mpg's all day long.

Whoops, see you made you choice. Do us a favor and report back in a couple months and let us know what you think.

Have a 21 Willys and just purchased a 22 f150 Tremor. The F150 way better vehicle all around especially if u have kids. Not much room in the Gladiator. My Willys is for sale on here if anyone is interested. The Tremor is a tremendous truck.

Just traded f150. I have a 4Runner for family duty. Gladiator will be a better all around vehicle I think
