That seems more realistic. Still a good measurement for a 35. Most are between 34.2 and 34.6 so that's seems on par. If the 37's measure 36.2 I'll be super happy. Now I hope your future down the road feedback will be good. I'm about 2 months out on pulling the trigger on a brand new set, just got to get a few more miles of wear out of these Goodyears. I appreciate your help.

OP......as you can tell from all the responses.......everyone has different experiences. Someone said at highway speeds, wind noise is louder than tire noise. We just got back from a 1000 mile trip and I agree about the wind noise! The factory MT tires were louder in the city and on the highway. I say, you pick an AT tire you like and think looks cool. How your truck looks to you is what is important!

you have 18" wheels? the ultimate 35 for those is goodyear duratrac 285 75r18, at only 60 lbs, studable winter snow flake capable as well, they are legal wherever winter tires are mandatory, 285 75r18's are actually a tiny bit taller than 35x12.50's fyi, i have used duratracs on ram 1500 and they were best tire for hunting traction, snow/ice that i've used, been a long time since a goodyear product impressed me, this is the only goodyear product you'll hear me praise, they are better than ko2's imo which also have snowflake, other snowflake rated are falken at3w's...take your pic

otherwise if more mud terrain no snowflake symbol required, there are two hybrid mud/all terrain, the nitto ridge grappler and the falken wildpeak m/t...they falken's have some noise, it's not full on mud noise but you will hear them, the nitto likely run quieter than the falken, after that it's all mud terrains

i dream of these skinny 285 duratracs but cannot give up my 37's, i wish i could get this very tire, same width, just 37" tall, as it is i need snowflake symbol tires to go into neighbor province for work during winter so i'll be running falken wildpeak at3w's going forward on 37x12.50, wish i could have that as 10.5" wide instead of 12.5" wide though, skinny so much better for almost all situations and those duratracs are best traction hunting tires i've used yet

There's a lot of good hybrid tires on the market. My yoko X-ATs are pretty quiet. But then again,. My Mastercraft Courser MXTs were pretty quiet up until about 25,000 miles.

I recently switched from stock rubi 33” wildpeak m/t to 37x11.5 ridge grapplers. I would estimate the rgs have 1/3 the noise of the wildpeak. I would never call them quiet there is still very noticeable whine. the wildpeak was MUCH louder and wandered terrible at highway speed but they were unstoppable in snow and mud. The rgs go straight so much better my supposed steering gear box center drift issue is now gone and I canceled my plan to ask dealer to use the TSB and replace the gearbox as it actually was the tires

If you don't need anything super aggressive, I had these on my Ram 1500 and loved them and got 75,000 miles on the set. They are very advanced technically and have neat tread wear indicators that show in the tread at different percentages left. They are snowflake rated and ride really nice. Nokian has a newer, more aggressive tire, the Rockproof, but it is pretty pricey. If I didn't want a more aggressive tire, I would buy the Rotiva AT again in a heartbeat.

Title pretty much sums it up...... I'm getting ready to buy a set of 35's for my JT, and would like some recommendations on any quiet Hwy speed brands / model / series?
And maybe just as important, what are some of the noisier ones, that I need to stay away from?
I have Firestone Destinations 35x12.5 R20LT. They are not very noisy, and handled very well this past winter in the snow.

Currently running the duratraks. They are perhaps the best at snow tire I have run. They need to rotated a lot to keep them wearing good. They are great tires but I would not call them quiet.

I have two Jeeps a Wrangler and Gladiator and have BFG T/A KO on both of them.....Ride excellent and very little noise.....Secret to rough tread tires is to rotate often.....

These are some good choices, to add to the list the Falken Wildpeak AT 3W is also quiet but it is currently on National Back order.
I second that. Picked some up and love them.

If you Google " falken wildpeak at3w vs bfg ko2", it seems like other forums greatly choose the Falken over the BFG.
