So the MOPAR lift its 2 inches of lift.

But, is that 2 inches of lift to the sport as well as the Rubicon? Taking into account the Rubicon already comes lifted compared to the Sport, it a bit confusing. What lift should I expect in my Rubicon with the MOPAR kit?

I would assume like previous Mopar lifts, the 2 inches is rated for the Rubicon. Using it on the sport/overland will likely net 3+ inches.

I'm curious why you think this? The Rubicon doesn't weigh any more than the other models above the axles does it? I'm pretty sure all the extra weight of the Rubi is unsprung.

Unless I am mistaken, I thought the MOPAR 2" lift kit had different part numbers for the Rubicon and non Rubicon models. So it should be a stated 2" lift regardless.

Should be the same net lift. Rubicon has different, higher fenders that provide a different wheel well gap. I think this gives the perception that it is lifted higher.

At least that's how I've understood it.

I added Rubicon wheels, MT 33s and the Mopar 2 inch lift to my SportS w/max tow. Gained 3 1/2 inches.

Both me and my buddy put 2" Mopar lifts on. I have an Overland and he has the Rubicon. He thought his was higher until I pointed out the difference in fenders. Both had same clearance. He then had to go one better and put 35's on. :surprised:
