So the posted torque values on this forum have the trackbar at 52 ft lb (both ends). I read in several posts that it is actually 110- 120 ft lb. I'm using grade 8, 9/16 bolts and hardware.

I just spoke to Metal Cloak (MC) and they said 52 ft lb. The MC trackbar arrives tomorrow and I'm still floundering on the actual torque value.

Help me guys!

I would use the factory tourqe specs 110.

FWIW, Metalcloak's instructions for the F/R JT Trackbars don't seem to give a torque spec and they stay to re-use the factory hardware which would be 110 ft/lbs for each side on the front and 90 ft/lbs on both sides for the rear.

MC Instructions:

Front:https://images.metalcloak.com/Metal...otrak-Track-Bar-Installation-Instructions.pdf

Rear: https://images.metalcloak.com/Metal...otrak-Track-Bar-Installation-Instructions.pdf

EDIT: Maybe the 52 ft/lbs is for the jam nut? But even that seems a bit low.

I used factory torque specs when I installed my MC track bar.

Factory TB torque is 110ftlbs. But if using 9/16 grade 8 course thread then the torque is going to be 115ftlbs.
