I even seen a Subaru with ducks. :(

I had two on the dash but got sick of looking at them. Definitely over it

The duck thing originated WAY before that Canadian girl got upset. I don't remember what the website was, but it was back when the internet, as we know it (In Windows form), was fairly new. There were tags attached to ducks, with serial numbers on them, and anywhere you traveled, you'd type it into the web address, attached to that serial number. It wasn't a Jeep thing, it was an everyone thing. Some of those ducks circumnavigated the planet several times. It's long gone AFAIK.

She never claimed to start it. She promoted and popularized it.

I think it's silly. My nieces love them. And now I have a dozen and need to thin the flock. The Buc-ee's one stays.

We agree with that. With a couple of exceptions, the few we keep on our dash were given by family and close friends. I have a bulletpoint picatinny mount and my radar detector sits up like...too much. I'd love to lower it. What are you using?

My aunt lives on Pawleys Island, SC and her and her little old lady friends duck everyone, it's hysterical 🤣

I can’t move on because I never moved toward ducks but the Deadwood Duck (a take on Deadwood Dick of fictional novel fame? 🫢) is pretty cool. I’ve enjoyed my trips to Deadwood. The cemetery where Wild Bill resides is interesting.

We've hit Tombstone too. On a day when they were doing re-enactments. Fun stuff. Both were less that a 30 minute drive off our planned routes and when I saw them on the map I had to stop. Not sure I need to do either one again but they were worth a visit.

Pretty much where I am with it. My nieces and nephews thought it was the coolest thing when Uncle Steve got a duck on his Jeep when I took them out for snowballs. So now I'm kinda stuck with them. (the ducks, not the kids. I pump 'em full of sugar and cut them loose on my sisters. I'm the Funcle. 😂 )

It's a radar mount from Bulletpoint actually. Before I settled on the Rubigrid I looked at every mount/rail combo and BP had the lowest profile.

Yes. I’ve got a city marshal badge from Tombstone somewhere. Great movie also; one of Charlton Heston’s last. So many great western actors gone now. Costner is one of the last.

I don't particularly care for the ducks, my wife likes them, we have one. It is the Quackbang from The Fat Electrician.
