I’m a knew JT owner and have had quite an experience so far. I bought a new ‘22 high altitude on 8/19/22 and have had several issues which include paint defects in the roof (fish eye), poor paint blending, scratch on the passenger side pillar, water intrusion, and rust around several bolts (on the interior and exterior). I’ve worked with the dealer who submitted a claim to Stellantis and subsequently was approved. Unfortunately, the repairs were less than desirable (bad blending, overspray, marred up my bumper which wasn’t impacted initially, and the rust wasn’t rectified). The experience with the dealer has been atrocious, no accountability and deflection of the issues, stating this happens all the time (vehicles get painted and placed back on the lot). This is day 26 where they’ve had my vehicle and it’s located at the body shop again. I requested the vehicle be replaced and the promotional financing I secured (0% through jeep) to be retained. The dealer has advised jeep won’t honor it since this is no longer being offered, but would allow for replacement. The problem is I chose the finance rate (0%) in lieu of the rebates being offered by jeep at the time. You were not allowed to combine the two so it made more sense to take the finance rate. Now I’m in a jam because if the vehicle were to be replaced I have to go to the open market and get financing and rates are clearly unfavorable (even with good credit). I’ve pasted some photos of the damage and wanted to see if anyone else has had these issues or can provide some suggestions on how to remedy where I’m indemnified and put back whole..
**there are many more details pertaining to the experience (I’ve recorded 3 pages of exchanges) but wanted to summarize..
