Edited to reword my post.

current setup is a 2023 JTR with 1.5 front spacer and .75 rear spacer. 37" ko2’s on 17x9-12. I’d like to go max a 3.5 inch lift. It’s a daily driver and weekend camper/trails. Not hardcore rock crawling. I’m also only loaded on weekends.

Locally I can get the teraflex base lift no shocks and then get the falcon sp2 to match(2 separate purchases)
Or would the Aev 3" dual sport with the 5100’s be better? I’ve read the rake unloaded is significant.
Anyone have experience? Would I get more lift from the aev?

Only you can make that choice. How in the world can "us" on the internet tell you?

Both kits are quality and comparable to each other. 50 will tell you AEV, 50 will tell you Teraflex and 50 more will tell you something else.

From the five your local shop sells, you have the two best picked out. Pick one.

Also Meatalcloak, and Clayton. But once cry once. Also depends on what you're trying to accomplish. DD, Camping set up, hardcore off roader?

I'd second the Clayton's if your adding 600 or more lbs. Their 2.5 is amazing

Look at the Mopar 2" kit, too.

Which teraflex base lift are you looking at? Their 2.5" base lift has parts you won't use (rear spacers that are shorter then what you currently have) and the 3.5" base lift requires additional parts as mentioned on their site, even with the 2.5" base kit I would strongly consider adjustable front lower control arms and you will likely want to get springs or a bigger spacer for the rear end.

The AEV Dual Sport is a much more complete kit, and arguably front control arm relocation brackets are going to give the best ride quality when lifting your jeep. The 3" Dual Sport is their heavy duty springs, their site states:

"for overland enthusiasts who have a fully outfitted vehicle that is also consistently loaded with heavier gear (+400-700 lbs. over the standard load spring)".
The standard springs are already designed to carry more load then the factory springs, meaning the 3" lift is designed for Jeeps consistently loaded with 800-1100lbs of additional weight.

All of that is to say I wouldn't go with either kit you listed. The 2.5" AEV lift is a complete kit that would meet your needs, but maybe you want fancier shocks. If you want the fancier shocks I would keep doing your research, and likely piece parts together from different companies.

I was looking at the teraflex 3.5 base kit with the falcon 2.1 shocks for 3.5" lifts. I could also pickup front and rear adjustable trac bars and be at the same price as the AEV kit but still invest into control arms.

another option I found local is the 3" JKS lift also around the same price as the Teraflex and AEV.

im not constantly loaded but do have weekend gear
