MY22 Only - Anyone moved to D1?

My guess from reading these posts is most of you didn't have the agonizing wait for the 18 JLs. 5 months from order to delivery for my 18 JL. It was torture! As excited as I am for my Gladiator, I am ok with this timeframe over the initial rollout for the JL. Mine is supposed to be at Gupton on the 28th, not holding my breath though for that date. I expect it to be in early Jan.

IDK man - I think the real problem is that I've been wanting a Jeep since 2010 and now that it's finally ordered I think my head might explode by the time it gets here.

This is so frustrating! Yesterday the dealer told me the Gladiator was in route. Today, Jeep Chat tells me it's waiting to be shipped! I don't know how much of this I can take. Definitely a test of my patience! Guess it will get here when it gets here....

I've had the opposite experience. Yesterday Jeep Chat told me mine was en route. Today Renee from Gupton says its waiting to ship. Ha.

If this is the biggest hardship we face. We're doing ok.

I'm being a bit lazy but also fighting fires at work. When does window sticker URL start working?

Mine just shipped and it started working about 10 days ago. When it was in Paint.

Please understand, they are very busy and a much smaller dealer than I expected. I got the Tread Lightly FCA discount. The ONLY time I’ve ever bought something and it was LESS than I expected. No nitrogen tire fill fee, anti-microbe fee, or invisible coatings fees. So refreshing, I’m sending all the business I can their way!

Timeline: Sticker was found on the 2nd, on the 6th Jeep Chat said "delayed 1-4 weeks”, 7th Gupton said they got estimate 13-31st, then out of the blue on the 9th Renee said they are unloading it today! Feel like I hit the lotto.

Just so you know the 2021 Gladiator 0% 36month does not apply to the 2022.

Interesting ... I ordered end of Oct .. got using the Tread lightly affiliate program ... so got 1% under invoice .. we'll see how that plays out when I pick it up.

OK.... I just received an email from cryptosticker.net (first ever that I recall) that indicates that not only the build sheet is available but also the "Sticker".

So, how does this work? I'd been operating under the understanding that I'd see a build sheet then after some delay (days/weeks) the sticker would show up when it was completed.

Does cryptosticker indicating the sticker is available mean it's complete?


UPDATE: ... I went back and checked email and I DID receive a notification the build sheet was made available last night (10:30PM). The 'sticker' email arrived about 15 minutes ago (about 10:45AM).

so.... about 12Hrs transpired ?!

Renee just said to bring my membership letter and a control number that I generated through the FCA Affiliate site.

I do have a problem in that when I generated my control number a few days ago something glitched with the site because it output 7 different control numbers, and per the FCA Affiliate program you can only generate 2 per 6 or 12 months. My profile also shows I have 0 generated codes.

So I have no idea if all of those codes are valid or if only one is, and if so, which one?

mmmm maybe reach out and email them , not sure I would want to generate another on my own before checking with them. I'm sure it's something they could help you clear up quickly...hopefully anyway.... good luck with it !

I received the same email from them this morning. Coincidentally, today was my estimated ship date (last I heard). I contacted my salesman for an update, but no response yet.

In my case I've now confirmed with Jeep Chat and my dealer that it's ready to go and is "in preparation for shipping" ... but no one can provide any real detail on a date when it will move out.

Question for anyone who may know ... when they ship these I understand it will be most likely rail for anything but local to the factory (Toledo). My question is are there any other FCA (or whatever they call themselves) CDJR factories in that area that might share rail car space when they ship to a location within a region to fill available space in order to optimize shipping times?

That shipping rule used to be the case, but they have been using trucks more often, I know dealerships in florida, GA, and PA have been getting from trucks instead of train. You might get lucky as trucks tend to be faster? Your dealership will know their transportation method, for Jl/JT. But yes, When their is a train, they combine for multiple dealerships in the area to receive on the same train.
