Looks good but 12.5" tires are too wide for the stock 7.5" wide rims.

Would this thread apply to Sport S with the regular tow and a manual transmission? Not sure how different the maw tow is verse the regular tow
I have a Sport S with tow package (not max tow) but an auto. The transmission shouldn't matter. I'm running 285/75/17 Yokohama geolander M/Ts with no issues. I do have take off rubicon suspension but no spacers or lift.

Looks great with the leveling kit, where is your antenna?
I do not listen to terrestrial radio (am/FM). I listen to only satellite radio, podcasts and audio books. The car wash I used on a daily basis would whip the antenna into the truck so I put it permanently behind the back seat.

The only drawback with stock wheels is when adding wider tires. I have a Sport S and just didn't like the looks of the stock rims so changed them out for some quadratec Baja rims and 255-80/17 tires. Gas mileage dropped a bit with the heavier/taller tires but no more than .5 mpg. The Falkens are really nice tires

My 255-80-17 Falkens are stock width, just taller (33.1 vs. 31.5") and work fine on stock Sport S max tow wheels.

Glad my post helped you. I did not notice any change in mpg in mostly highway driving with the Falkens vs. stock tires. I have 4.10 gears, if that might matter.

How do you guys like this size?
To me, it's perfect. I'll never lift it beyond a front level kit and I like a little gap in the wheel well. The tires aren't too heavy, ride great and suit what I want visually.
Had a few Wranglers I lifted with 35's, 2 or 3 inch lifts and they quickly become a burden to drive on road between mpg loss and hp loss.

This is what I'm thinking. Now to decide on which tires in this size.

Yes, the 255-80-17E are perfect for me too. Short enough for towing capability, a bit taller than stock and slightly taller than the Rubicon tires for trails. Narrower than Rubi's at the same width as the stock 245's, so better for snow. I "agonized" over trying other brands and sizes but ended up with another set of AT3W Falkens because they were perfect on my JKU Recon. I had 9 of the stock light and relatively flimsy AT Bridgestones and thought about carrying several spares for hunting trips, but am now convinced that it is much better to have one spare that I never need.
