the latest update, the main dealership contacted me and offered me a new 2021 Gladiator, which was in their showroom, with the GPEC2a ECM, I signed a trade deal with them, and nowadays, I'm taking off all the modifications from my 2022 vehicle (pedal commander, Tazer, K&N airbox, Borla ATAK, Mopar 2" Kit, Led lights, wheels spacers, and tiers), the Prodigy Turbo Kit is waiting for the new vehicle, and within two weeks I should be atmospheric no more!

Nevertheless, concerning this thread, I contacted Mopar and asked them to send me a GPEC2a ECM configured with my VIN and the dealer code; the following is their reply:

Dear Mr. Shaffir:
Thank you for contacting Stellantis (FCA).
Your call was received by the Stellantis Customer Assistance Center that addresses issues with vehicles currently in the United States.
We recommend that you contact our local office responsible for your area by calling Jeep at 00800 0 426 5337 or email: [email protected]
That Center is staffed with trained professionals, ready to address your concerns.
Thank you again for your email.
Sincerely,
SM
so I sent another request to Fiat, and this is their reply:

Dear Mr Shaffir,
Thank you for contacting Fiat Chrysler Automobiles.
Your concern is very important to us, therefore we have forwarded your request to the relevant department which will be back in contact with you shortly.
Kind regards,
Beate Thelen
Customer Care STELLANTIS EMEA
I'll keep corresponding with them to figure out if that option is possible for other GPEC5 owners, I'll keep updating this tread with their replies.

Best to all!

Make sure you, or the shop you finds understands cam timing and dynamic compression principles. This will be vital to keeping your rig alive with FI.

Thanks, I will; they have installed prodigy and ripp kits to several engines, which have been running strong for a while; I trust the shop's owner; time will tell :).

I wouldn't count on just the harness being difference -they could have altered the bus communications to work with the new PCM (GPEC5) - which would mean headaches in other areas. I am pretty surprised that no one has been able to unlock the new PCM's i guess they don't see much of a demand or these new PCM's are just a huge pain to unlock (or maybe both).

Dave, the new engine I just put in my JT had the GPEC5 connector at the computer but the engine harness was identical in every way. I pinned that one out and even the colors of the wiring was an exact match. My opinion is that the harness going from the back of the left head is all that needs replaced in order to plug in the GPEC2A. Getting a New GPEC2A vin locked to a vehicle that wasn’t equipped with it might be the biggest obstacle for folks that want to tune their trucks.
The harness along the firewall and on the engine have to change. Not really that hard. Currently I am not aware of any commercial tools capable of writing a vehicle VIN to the GPEC2. I do know the dealer can set up a blank ECM to your Jeep, but they type in the vin and it loads the factory software. If your truck came with the GEPC5, that is not going to work. I have searched more than a few avenues trying to help a guy. If you could find some one to program you vin on there , you can probably reset the security code, but it is an expensive gamble.

Any update on this? I know Dakota Customs has a way to connect the Body harness from a Gpec5 to a gpec2 for a Hemi swap. N2 speed also say they can add a Vin to a gpec2.
