I have a new Gladiator Sport S with Standard Tow. I was wondering if there was any break-in period (in terms of miles) that I should consider before attempting to tow with it. I'm planning to tow a 19 foot outboard with the Gladiator.

You should have gotten an owners manual with your Jeep. If you didn't you can download it as a .pdf from the website.

The manual states that the gas engine needs more particular break-in than the diesel engine, but it's a good idea to take it a little easy and vary your RPM with either for a while when new.

500 miles comes to mind, not sure if that is accurate or not but probably a good idea. I have a 19’ boat with an outboard I have towed quite a bit, the JT handles it pretty well, mine is close to 3500lbs total.

Beyond breaking-in the engine, the differential gears benefit from about 500 miles of easy driving, not over 50-60 mph.
