New Gladiator (wooo!!!), power steering noise?

So I just bought a new 22 gladiator rubicon, coming from a 95 wrangler, with no power steering. I noticed a weird whirring noise when turning the wheel that takes a second to wind down. wondering if this is normal? these are all new sounds to me, just looking for peace of mind

Our 2020 Overland (since replaced upgraded with a 2021 Gecko Rubicon) used to make Ghost noises when backing up.

It was "normal"

It was hard to tell where it was coming from but what I hear sounds like EFI, interference in the sound system as if something while it was in reverse was propagating through the speakers.

I feel like I should have named my Gladiator "Rice Crispies" because it's always making snap, crackle, and pop noises. I don't know if it's because I drive a lot with the windows down and top off, and I hear it more than I ever did with my other cars, or if it's a Jeep thing, but it makes more weird noises than any of vehicle I've ever had.

I feel like every car i've ever had makes weird noises that I don't hear from any other car. But you know what they say, if everywhere you go sounds like shit it's time to check your shoes. I'm probably just low-key insane enough to avoid diagnosis and the noises are all in my head.
