New Mojave owner - so much information on this board! Have read many posts and just wanted to verify I have covered the bases. If it costs more to do it correctly, I am fine with that. My Gladiator will be a DD. Moderate off road a few times a year. Will be adding an aluminum front bumper with winch/synthetic rope to the front-more weight.

Teraflex 1.5" front leveling kit
rear 3/4" puck kit (Daystar?) am thinking these two leveling "kits" with the winch will level out my Mojave
Teraflex 2" shock extension bracket kit - front & rear (2-2.5"lift) Plan to use front only*
Teraflex JL/JT Alpine short control arm kit adjustable. 0-4.5" lift
35x11.5 Nitto tires
front end alignment required

My question(s):

1. the 2" shock extension brackets - are they a good idea?
2. IF using the 2" shock extension brackets are a good idea, does the bump stop need to be changed for shock travel in the front? If so, 1/2" bump stop pad?
3. any other parts suggested?

Also reading, possibly plan on adding a Fox 2.0 front stabilizer as that appears to improve steer/handling.

Thanks in advance!

I would just use front adjustable arms instead of the full arm kit. You don't really need all adjustable arms with that small lift height. But adjustable front uppers or lowers will be nice to dial in your caster.

Double check the Teraflex shock extension front & rear kit. I think that only fits the JL. Also, I don't think Teraflex makes a shock extension kit for the Mojave front. The Mojave front shock bolts are M14 vs M12 for others. You'd have to find a Mojave specific front extension, absent drilling out the Teraflex.

Yes, you are correct. Teraflex suggests the Fabtech shock extensions BUT they don't suggest using them for the 1.5" lift.

Not sure what your goals are with the lift.
I just added an MP Concepts aluminum front bumper and a Rough Country 12000lb Pro winch and it didn’t drop my front end at all so I don’t need a leveling kit for that.
The Mojave has extra suspension over the other trims and if you want to get some lift without getting rid of the Mojave suspension AEV has a 2” spacer lift for the Mojave that keeps the suspension intact. You will want to add either the geo correction brackets or an extended lower control arm to put your caster back in place.

I would definitely put shock extensions on the front at a minimum. Eye to eye resting on the suspension my Mojave was 21", with steel bumper. The shocks are only about 23.5 fully extended. So that is only 2.5" uptraval... Now once you lift it you will only have 1" uptravel l. You don't want to top those shocks out.

I'd just buy the aev mojave specific 2" kit. All the parts you need. 2" shock extensions with 2" spacers and 2" bump stops keeping everything working like stock. The bypass shocks have a ride zone, so keeping them working in that zone is important. At least that's what I did.

AEV makes a full kit specifically for the Mojave. I would just get it.

I bought the AEV 2" lift along with the Terraflex adjustable lower arms, Yeti adjustable front track bar, Steer Smarts bracket, Fox 2.0 adjustable pass thru steering stabilizer.
Thanks for the responses!
